"Unreported rape" are rape cases that go unreported to the police, not unreported to anyone else or rapes that are reported be others and not directly from the victim.

Why would I EVER believe a rape claim that was NOT reported to the police? Why should I ever believe a rape claim where the accused was not found guilty? And you can call me lazy, but I'm not reading all that shit. If you like you can tell me what it says in a jist and I'll take your word for it, but otherwise no.

Those aren't sources, they're literally just more words backing up what the first few words are saying, no actual PROOF of their claims. Even the whitehouse website doesn't have any sources.

This is a link given in the resources. This is a .pdf file by the U. S. Department of Justice

Census Bureau, produced the tables and it gives you all the statistics and proof you want. It was linked under the resources.

"Why would I EVER believe a rape claim that was NOT reported to the police?
Why should I ever believe a rape claim where the accused was not found guilty?"

Because a lot of the time its done by friends or acquaintances who have easy access to the victims, thus the victim is reluctant to report out of fear of further violence. And also because some times rape cases that are brought to court are closed due to lack of evidence because the only way to prove someone was raped, is either through eye witness testimony or a rape kit, which I think you'd know why a rape kit is unappealing, and because physical assault marks (i.e. black eyes, bruises.) don't necessarily mean rape.

And no. I will not read this to you. This is why you have these views on feminism. Because you're too lazy to actually inform yourself about it. Rather, you let other people indoctrinate you with propaganda like this because its easier. And if you honestly can't be asked to inform yourself with evidence. Then you probably shouldn't be speaking about a group of people when you've just confessed to not wanting to actually learn about the issue they fight against.

User avatar #101 - captainfuckitall (06/15/2014) [-]
From the table of contents, it just talks about the type of victims and what they go through.

No, fuck you. I'm not going to believe anything that isn't proved just because someone wants to pull my heartstrings. I don't care how "Oh so scary" it is, if you want to be believed, you have to prove it.

Oh, oh dear me, I'm sorry, do you read 50 page PDFs on absolutely everything you know as well? Please forgive me, sir; I wasn't aware you were so knowledgeable. Please, tell me, if someone of my ignorance can be so bold as to speak to YOU, may you tell me all different types of fabric, their practical uses, time of discovery, cultivation, and practical innovation? I want to sew things, you see; and since I assume you know about Fabric, you've also studied absolutely everything about it to a T. Can you please inform me of these things sir?

You seriously did not read it, and yet you want to say its not evidence.

"No, fuck you. I'm not going to believe anything that isn't proved just because someone wants to pull my heartstrings. I don't care how "Oh so scary" it is, if you want to be believed, you have to prove it."

The .pdf I linked is one of the few that don't include unreported rape. This is an issue feminism is fighting against, we want women, AND men to report rape without fear of persecution.

"Oh, oh dear me, I'm sorry, do you read 50 page PDFs on absolutely everything you know as well? Please forgive me, sir; I wasn't aware you were so knowledgeable. No I don't and no I can't tell you about fabric. Why? Because I don't talk shit about fabric. The day I talk shit on fabric is the day I actually research fabric. Why? Because talking shit on something you don't know about, especially something you can't even be bothered to LEARN about, is stupid.

Ah, there's your problem: American feminists (and Canadian too, apparently).
Here in Denmark, radical feminists are the minority, and feminists fighting for actual equality are increasing in numbers. Last month, our museum of National History held a conference focused on feminism, both what it was and what it is, and what it might become in the future. There were several hundred feminists there, and I didn't hear any of them bitching about men, or saying that men are "inherently oppressors" or anything of the like. Those prejudices are seen as old-fashioned and unintelligent here in Denmark.

A lot of these women are now openly criticized for these quotes. And many of them are only famous and seen as ground breaking because many started writing about feminism in the 60's and 70's when feminism was still stigmatized as some thing to dislike and it was seen as revolutionary for women to write about men in such a way (we now see it as hateful, but at the time it was revolutionary none the less.). And also judging feminism as a whole based on these women is a great misrepresentation. Its like saying all atheists were as brash and crude as TheAmazingAtheist and making it purely based on him, and other more extremist YouTubers. And thats what I feel as if you're doing. You're only looking at these extremist feminists (or as some call them feminazis) and their supporters as feminism. When in fact they're barely known in our society. Yes. This is a really small percentage. Just because you see lots of propoganda like this doesn't make it true.

I live in Baltimore, a city with a 63.7 black population (even more if you count mixed people like myself.). Yes, to me it may SEEM like there are more black people in America than others think, but it would be foolish of me to say there are more black people in America because thats mostly what I see.

America is only 12.6% black.

The majority of feminism is not like this, these women in the quotes want equity, not equality.

No, they represent a tiny group of radical lesbian feminists, almost exclusively american.
For example entire french feminist theory is completely different then american. And even in american feminism the people named here are a tiny minority that most feminist thinkers consider contraproductive.
They have represented RADICAL feminism.
That is like saying that Ron Paul represents Republican party in wanting smaller military, no interventions outside american borders and is for legalization of marijuana. He must be, because he is in the republican party. Or he represents tiny minority that gets lots of press because those views are more interesting to read about while wast majority believes in direct opposite.

But if you haven't noticed. FunnyJunk's feminism hate circle jerk is dying down just like it usually does with any other thing FunnyJunk decides to hate for a while.

No I don't and no I can't tell you about fabric. Why? Because I don't talk shit about fabric. The day I talk shit on fabric is the day I actually research fabric. Why? Because talking shit on something you don't know about, especially something you can't even be bothered to LEARN about, is stupid.

User avatar #104 - captainfuckitall (06/15/2014) [-]
I have no problem learning about things, but I don't like wasting my time, but simply getting to the facts. Have YOU even read the PDF?
#105 - knackie (06/15/2014) [-]
Yes. I have. Because I actually like to inform myself on the topics I'm talking about.
User avatar #106 - captainfuckitall (06/15/2014) [-]
Yet you can't give me the Jist of it? Interesting.
#107 - knackie (06/15/2014) [-]
I can give you the jist of it. I just refuse to. Because apparently you'll "take my word on it".
You know what? Sure, heres what the .pdf says:

Every female born is raped at birth. The .pdf says it, maybe. Just take my word on it.

The average man spends 2.7 years raping women. The .pdf says it, maybe. Just take my word on it.

The average women is raped 3 times per day. The .pdf says it, maybe. Just take my word on it.

This is how you got to this position, you don't want to actually inform yourself. You want others to inform you, so you can just "take their word on it" and blindly hate something for no good reason. Why? Because learning is hard and blind hate is easy.

The ones you're talking about are called Radical Feminists, and are a fringe group, just as there are fringe groups in most political movements. These people are being ridiculed by mainstream feminists as well as others, as the majority of feminists are well aware that these idiots do nothing to help. I believe that you'd be hard pressed to find any political movement that doesn't have idiots. Have you ever gone off the internet and talked to real life feminists? I have, as I'm part of a group dedicated to exposing everyday sexism, and we meet about once a month. I assure you that none of the people I've met from that group are misandrists, and very few of the members of the online group have said anything hurtful about men.
User avatar #42 - malinko (06/14/2014) [-]
and before you say "but we do speak out against them! because i just said they are bad"
im sorry, but ive never seen any group within the feminist community actually do something about them. no campaign, no advertisement, no videos. no organization speeches about it. and no movement. however, feminists seem to be able to find the time for stupid shit like "ban bossy"

I find feminism completely devoid of logic, organization or any real goal aside from "omg equal rights for girls! girl power!" well, what do you consider equal rights? do you mean by law? because if that is the case, by las you have more rights then men. and when i say more rights and mean more laws are put in to place to protect women, and sometimes those laws fuck over men horribly. (divorce, child battles, rape cases, prison sentences. ect)

and i know for a fact you are going to mention equal pay for the same position. but, before you do, go look up the actual statistics on that insted of just the ones feminism focuses on.

so, if its not by law, do you want equal rights for women socially? cuz if so, you might as well pack up and good home. because in order to do that, you either have to change the opinion of everyone on the planet, or force them to. and in this country (usa) people have the freedom to be ignorant fucks. so good luck with that.
User avatar #41 - malinko (06/14/2014) [-]
well guess what. that fringe group has completely hijacked your image, and is now the face of modern feminism. they are the reason no one takes feminism seriously, and that fact that the so called "real" feminist are not doing anything about them gives off the image that they condone what they do and therefore are grouped along with them.
User avatar #37 - captainfuckitall (06/14/2014) [-]
Indeed I have, and nearly all of them have held the same opinions as your minority. All of them (that I've met) believe that men are inherently oppressors and that there is a war against women, that women are oppressed even in the firstworld, and believe the bullshit propaganda usually spewed. I live in Canada too. Not many radicals on the average here.
User avatar #39 - gonzoen (06/14/2014) [-]
Ah, there's your problem: American feminists (and Canadian too, apparently).
Here in Denmark, radical feminists are the minority, and feminists fighting for actual equality are increasing in numbers. Last month, our museum of National History held a conference focused on feminism, both what it was and what it is, and what it might become in the future. There were several hundred feminists there, and I didn't hear any of them bitching about men, or saying that men are "inherently oppressors" or anything of the like. Those prejudices are seen as old-fashioned and unintelligent here in Denmark.

It's fine. It was a joke from a picture a while back where a man was looking out the window and saw a dog and his owner walking down the street. The dog barked at another, bigger dog, and his owner just turned and said "See, this is why you have no fucking mates, Dave".

It's alright, I apologize for making you upset, but you don't need to thumb my posts up. Thumbs are a way to express positivity or negativity toward any type of comments; if you do not like them, it is perfectly within your right to thumb them down.

The thing is, the way I found OUT you gave me those thumbs was because of the question mark, which allows people to see who voted on content. I could only KNOW it was you if you had thumbed them down, which you did.

And now you not only prove to be an idiot, but a liar as well.

Due to your pointlessly rude comment on the post "Jesus ain't got time for shit",

I have gone through 20 of your previous comments and thumbed them all down.

You're also a stupid, unfunny, tryhard feelfag. Exactly the kind of user that this site is infamous for.
User avatar #467 to #466 - captainfuckitall (08/25/2013) [-]
I wasn't pointlessly rude. If you read it more carefully, you would find I am not insulting your god or faith, but rather, the people who spread it about; and even they are just doing it to themselves, while I am mearly making an observation

It's ironic you call me tryhard, considering you just went through the time to thumb-down my last 20 comments as if it would have any effect on me personally or my ranking here. It's also odd you call me stupid, considering you were the one who read it uncorrectly. And I think the fact I have so many comment thumbs anyways (including my own jesus comment) speaks to the point that I am, in fact, quite hilarious. "Feelfag", is that supposed to be a derogatory term for someone who is passionate about certain things? If so, then I take pride in it, as it is only through passion that things grow.

Considering you are pretentious, arrogant, immature, and without a sense of humour; you fit the criteria for '12 year old funnyjunker' far better than I do.

User avatar #462 to #461 - captainfuckitall (06/01/2013) [-]
It's ironic how you talk about avoiding situations, when your very comment isn't needed considering I already explained, about five times now, that I do not mean you must 'abuse' your children in order to get good results. My comment, and all the comments afterwards, were about how when compassion and support fails you must turn to punishment and discipline, including simply smacking your kid upside the head

Perhaps you should read more and get better informed before jumping to opinions, yes?
