And finds that not only has she been watching porn and going on all these erotic sites, but she's also been chatting with many men regarding sex and sexual interactions (which explains her more 'erotic' behaviour as of late, including her dress, ect). He, of course, is very upset and concerned for her well being while she doesn't understand the problem and claims that she was curious because he didn't want to do anything. He feels guilty, sees that it is his fault for not properly educating her, and with face red he resolves to teach her about sex and love properly (nothing sexual to his intentions either. It would literally be like a regular sex ed class). He goes to the store and buys lube, condoms, bananas, romance/sex magazines, things like that in order to provide the best education, and hurries back to his apartment and opens the door only to find Chris Hansen and his crew.

While the loli has been watching porn, the neighbours heard and believed he was the one making her watch it as well as dress that way and act that way, and that they were having sex while the parents were gone. They checked the computer and found all the websites and conversations (which she SURELY couldn't have found herself...) And when he comes back with more condoms and all these different toys with a red and giddy face (from nervousness at educating her in a subject he isn't even very familiar with), it seals the deal that he is a pedophile for them and they assume that he was going to kink the place up or something and take him into custody, all while he screams on about his innocence and that it's just a misunderstanding, leaving his fate unknown.

I enjoy it because it easily goes through many things we might have trouble writing, including how they meet, where he works, what he does, ect. and the relationship they have. It builds a connection to the characters because of their completely platonic connection to eachother, and the constant 'ecchi' material provides........
User avatar #269 - captainfuckitall (04/01/2014) [-]
Good pre-fapping and edging (before we break their hearts) and misunderstandings provide for the light-hearted humour and slapstick about just how easily things can be misunderstood or go wrong.

And, perhaps the best part, ALL of it is SFW while alluding to sexual nature and nobody gets banned!

You've got a nice concept here! Takes basically everything we need for the comic to work and makes it fit nicely in an openly 'hentai' scenario. The only problem that I could see coming out of this one is it seems that the apartment would be the only main setting (unless we were to illustrate MC going out to the store) and I feel as though this may limit the story. But I'm sure we could all figure something out if we do go with this one. Anyway, it is definitely a good scenario.
User avatar #305 - captainfuckitall (04/01/2014) [-]
Thank you very much! That's why I included him helping her with many assignments, so they would go out into the world and see it themselves, hands on, rather than staying inside and just reading books. So they would explore many different places and you could see them in different scenes, I just didn't choose them because I figured the artists should do that.
User avatar #407 - johnri (04/03/2014) [-]
I think one way you might be able to fix that is just by having a few simple 1 or 2 frame scenes such as MC walking/driving girl to school, visiting grocery shops, playing outside, just simple activities that can show how close are with each other. Other than that, your comic idea seems pretty good, really enjoyed reading from beginning to end.

You are mistaken, friend. Holocrons can make a perfect record of how the individual would have acted in life.

A Holocron is not just a hologram as many people mistake it to be. It's like a living journal, a diary. Basically what it does is, when in sync with your mind, it creates a perfect false version of you. It contains your personality, your views, your ethics, your ideals, your everything, and when accessed in many later years and asked a question, it would give a response that YOU would have given at the time of your life. In this way you can hold a kind of "false" conversation with someone over thousands of years ago. (Note: Not ALL of them due this. Some act as diary's, some act as fake versions of you, it all depends on the type of Holocron).

This is known for a fact as when Darth Krayt was being consumed by his armour and sought to overcome death, he accessed the Holocrons of Bane, Nihilus, and another Sith Lord (whom I forget the name of) as they all had transcended death at some point. However, in turn of their distinct personalities, none of them gave him any advice and all of them judged him a failure as a Sith for dismantling the Rule of Two.

I'm going to need a source for your second to last fact. It was actually Darth Bane, who didn't come until hundreds of years after Nihilus, who established the Rule of Two.
User avatar #43 - captainfuckitall (03/30/2014) [-]
He established the Rule of Two indeed, but the Rule of Two itself was based off of a philosophy of strength that Revan came up with. He was the one who suggested that it is best to have only a few apprentices lest they gang up on you, and Bane incorporated it into the New Sith Order after he discovered Revan's Holocron.

Interesting. Do you remember what it was called?

I think the problem with the argument as a whole stems from the games industry not being treated as what it is. An industry. Game companies sell a product and underneath all that talk of being revolutionary and innovative storytelling, they're just trying to get as many people to buy their stuff as possible. That's how they make money to make more games. There are lots of burly white guys in games because that's what focus tests well. When there are enough women buying games that they start skewing those focus tests, they'll get more female protagonists, regardless of how much a small but vocal group people boohoo about not being able to identify with them or whatever.

Mhmm. The main problem is just a lack of understanding, I think. Not just in games, but in everything from Atheism V.S. Religion to Feminists V.S. Male Rights Activists to Spaghetti V.S. Milk, it's that none of them want to listen and all of them want to be heard, and it just creates a violent vortex where everyone thinks they're under-represented and everyone else is over-represented (or whatever stupid argument they come up with in the by-and-by)

Like the first comment says, this is the brainstorming phase, We are just picking up writers, and over the next few days, I am gonna open a new thread on this page for scenarios, and summon everyone here with mentions. What do you think about samthediv's Somersault! idea? Something similar to that does provide a nice starting point, but you seem to be considering a more "the characters know each other in real life" sort of stance. There is only so many ways an older man would know a girl, from teacher to relative, so we would need to be careful about backing ourselves into a corner and not having enough room to be creative.

Also, you seem to be working with a "love" in mind. Love isn't something considered too often in lolicon manga, unless it is something like Mismatched Thoughts. But then again, you want to work with something older. I think scaling the ages to slightly younger would be more effective, given that the average age on FJ is early 20s, and a middle school student would be better than a 10th grader from a "illegal" or "forbidden fruit" perspective.

This decision comes down to the question of love again, as in do we want the audience to empathize withe the characters, or hate the MC, or what? Is he manipulating her, or is it real? You can do comedy with either of those, but it is a critical factor.
User avatar #67 - captainfuckitall (03/29/2014) [-]
I LOVED Somersault!, that's exactly what I mean when I say that loli comics need to contain a certain type of cuteness. I would also heavily suggest reading "Kodomo No Jikan" for ANYONE seriously interested in doing this, as it contains just about everything we're talking about (and is a seriously good comic in its own right).

You do have a point, but we need to figure out the characters backstory's before we do ANY writing at all. For all we know, the protagonist could be some genius savont who shys away from everybody while the girl is a student who needs information for a project. There are so many ways we can go about this, and I will assist in them all if you let me, but there can be nothing done until we know exactly who these people are and where their interests lay.

Indeed I do. I want there to be a serious relationship, as I do not want people to just say "Ah, cockblocked" when it ends abruptly. I want there to be a serious, gut curdling, heart-wrenching feeling when you see that your favourite characters do not end up together like they should have. Mhmm, but independence is also an issue, there's a reason that superheroes often have their parents killed off, and bringing home a young middle-schooler isn't going to make dad very proud.

Mhmm. I suppose it just depends how much we want the viewer to hurt when the series ends, but that's up for everyone else to decide.
User avatar #58 - captainfuckitall (03/29/2014) [-]
I do not think any message is needed. As a user below me said, this IS Funnyjunk, and we like it when things are just easy to take in stride.

I would rather it be treated as a serious romance to let people get more attached, but that doesn't mean there SHOULDN'T be any real predators lurking around, or something genuinely frightening just around the corner.

That's about it. As far as I know, I do not have full command over the writing material and so all of these are just opinions, use them, interpret them, or trash them as you see fit.
User avatar #63 - bababadsheep (03/29/2014) [-]

Well I'm certainly glad you can see the good in my speaking skills. Frankly, I do it to get to the point. I hate having my time wasted for any reason, and so I extend that courtesy to others and try not to waste anyone else's time either; which leads me to being very blunt and brutal in my words so that they cannot be confused or misheard. Though I admit I was frustrated in that debate.

Oh well. When you get into a debate with someone, the point should be because you are trying to change your own views, not theirs.

If someone doesn't want to believe something, they won't. End of story. You could use all the proof you want to tell someone the colour of the sky is blue, but if they want it to be green, it will be and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

Thus, the only person you should be focused on changing in a debate is yourself, and only do so to get more perspective on the issues important to you.

User avatar #484 to #483 - captainfuckitall (04/22/2014) [-]
Yes I have. My first username was Hiimquinn, but it was deleted for some reason I never found, so I just made another.

Oh. Never mind then. I saw someone call you Dave and I mistook you for someone else.
User avatar #486 to #485 - captainfuckitall (04/22/2014) [-]
It's fine. It was a joke from a picture a while back where a man was looking out the window and saw a dog and his owner walking down the street. The dog barked at another, bigger dog, and his owner just turned and said "See, this is why you have no ******* mates, Dave".
User avatar #481 - iforgotmyothername (03/20/2014) [-]
you are one cool tempered potato compared to me, bringing my fury upon your wrongness. i salute you, and thumbed up all your comments in the a capella debate.
User avatar #482 to #481 - captainfuckitall (03/20/2014) [-]
It's alright, I apologize for making you upset, but you don't need to thumb my posts up. Thumbs are a way to express positivity or negativity toward any type of comments; if you do not like them, it is perfectly within your right to thumb them down.
User avatar #474 - aherorising (11/20/2013) [-]
you're a really cool bro
#471 - shiifter (10/06/2013) [-]
This still makes me giggle.

Oh and by the way, i never actually thumbed you down. I just said that i did.
User avatar #472 to #471 - captainfuckitall (10/06/2013) [-]
The thing is, the way I found OUT you gave me those thumbs was because of the question mark, which allows people to see who voted on content. I could only KNOW it was you if you had thumbed them down, which you did.

And now you not only prove to be an idiot, but a liar as well.
#473 to #472 - shiifter (10/12/2013) [-]
Wait? You still remembered that? That's hilarious.

By the way, i screencapped this. it's like a trophy.

Due to your pointlessly rude comment on the post "Jesus ain't got time for **** ",

I have gone through 20 of your previous comments and thumbed them all down.

You're also a stupid, unfunny, tryhard feelfag. Exactly the kind of user that this site is infamous for.
User avatar #467 to #466 - captainfuckitall (08/25/2013) [-]
I wasn't pointlessly rude. If you read it more carefully, you would find I am not insulting your god or faith, but rather, the people who spread it about; and even they are just doing it to themselves, while I am mearly making an observation

It's ironic you call me tryhard, considering you just went through the time to thumb-down my last 20 comments as if it would have any effect on me personally or my ranking here. It's also odd you call me stupid, considering you were the one who read it uncorrectly. And I think the fact I have so many comment thumbs anyways (including my own jesus comment) speaks to the point that I am, in fact, quite hilarious. "Feelfag", is that supposed to be a derogatory term for someone who is passionate about certain things? If so, then I take pride in it, as it is only through passion that things grow.

Considering you are pretentious, arrogant, immature, and without a sense of humour; you fit the criteria for '12 year old funnyjunker' far better than I do.

Hey, I would just like to say thank you for telling me to get an account.
Yea I know, odd thing to give thanks for when I could have gotten one easily but then again, I was a dumb bastard then and could not think very well.
I notice your comments from time to time and get some good knowledge off of them, mainly the Lovecraft related ones.
But like I said, thank you very much and continue to be awesome.

youre pretty ****** in the head if beating a kid is a good idea, parents would need to hit their kids if they taught them what was right and wrong from the beginning
User avatar #462 to #461 - captainfuckitall (06/01/2013) [-]
It's ironic how you talk about avoiding situations, when your very comment isn't needed considering I already explained, about five times now, that I do not mean you must 'abuse' your children in order to get good results. My comment, and all the comments afterwards, were about how when compassion and support fails you must turn to punishment and discipline, including simply smacking your kid upside the head

Perhaps you should read more and get better informed before jumping to opinions, yes?

I'd just like to say thank you for created one of the funniest threads i've seen this year.
To sum up why i thought it was so funny, a quote...
"Most people would say 'I lost. I give up.', but you, you just keep trying. You're like the Dominican Republic, always killing the guy in charge and saying 'Ah, this new guy, this new guy's gonna get it right!'." - Family Guy

I'm not sure whether I should take that as a compliment or an insult

I choose the former

Thank you, good sir
