A donation is something you give for a good cause. This isn't what I would consider a true definition of donate. More like extortion.

and the guy couldn't pay his college fees, helping him out is a good cause karma +1

1) He claims people forgave him.
2) And asking for a few bucks is one thing so long as you do requests but asking for 4500 euro is a pretty douche thing to do. Also there would have been no reward or commissions for those who donated.

i have read about it. you see see alot of his comics on i-funny and 9gag. debates goin on in the comments etc.

i haven't seen his old old comics but i did recognise the jaltoid style. but from what i understand people forgave him for it.
