i can't figure out why the ending has the easiest killable target and a 5 minute cinematic, it feels botched

Agreed. Don't get what's up with all the people claiming Angel Beats! is nothing to cry over. Are they lying to try to appear "manly" or simply that devoid of empathy.
It's true it's not the saddest ending around, but the combination of emotions makes it more powerful than anything I've ever seen by a frightening amount.

Streaming sites are illegal. Unless you count Crunchyroll of Funimation which use advertisements to get funding that supports the series.

I aint heard of nobody getting arrested for watching anime online since the makers should know by now that that is the best medium for the american/european populations

It's the best medium that does not make the companies any money.

Of course there are people suggesting that pirating does boost sales; though those are theories at best while watching a series through legal means is a sure way to know that you are supporting a series.

I do agree however that all media industries (music, movies, anime) need to adapt to the changing market. Regardless of how immoral or illegal something is, people will usually go for whatever method is easiest and currently pirating is far easier than waiting for a series to be licensed and purchase the DVD. It's why I believe that we need a "Steam" for anime, something where you can very easily purchase digital copies of an anime for a reasonable cost as providing it is easy to use, people will use it.

Using torrents to view anime is technically illegal (unless you are from one of those crazy European countries where it isn't). While many people (myself included) don't mind illegally pirating anime, some people may prefer to support the series through programs such as Crunchyroll or Netflix or simply purchase the series on DVD.

I doubt that counts as a supportive mean of anime because yea they might buy the right to steam certain shows but wouldnt buying the manga/anime be a better way to support them since it directly contributes
