Also, you should know that I've watched the first season of MLP:FiM and read up to Act 4 of Homestuck, and recognize that they have some charms, the latter more so, but I lost interest in both of them. MLP sort of suck now that I think about it though.

I HATE the fanbases for those shows/comics, though. Hate 'em. However, I hate them for the reasons that you don't exhibit, so I sort of respect you for not being an autistic fanfaggot who blathers nonstop about X or Y to everyone. Good job.

I tried to read homestuck 4 times before I got interested in it. The plot really takes off after act 4 and once I was there I started enjoying it.
This is all I will say of homestuck unless pressed for information.

I agree with you on MLP sort of sucking now. After it lost the thrill of watching a "children's show" it got boring.

The only reason I still even go onto the board is because it's a little less acidic then you're usual random board. And kinda charming in it's chaotic insanity of rolls and shitposts.

I usually stick to friendly which has semi-suicidal depressed "Friendly" people as it's primary feature along with the usual private board rules. The only pony content is the occasional mascot and people talking about how they're too lazy to watch the new episodes.

I stick of my Slice of Life Thread and that's about it.

Y'know Adam Reed used to be like that.
After he graduated, we used to talk every night on Skype for hours, and that's literally the only thing he would talk about.
He kept trying to make me read it, and when I appeased him and said I didn't like it very much, he insisted on making me enjoy it.

LUCKILY, he was reasonable enough to quit asking and we went on to different subjects but he still brings it and its fucking fanfiction up every now and then.

Alright, you're gonna need to post funny content, it doesn't always have to be original, but make sure to do that too.
Be generally funny. That helps.

One thing that pisses sensible pages off is the Share for Share thing. It's cheap, lazy, and annoying, especially when you're a page with 32 likes begging for a share from a page that has like 4000 likes. Just be real and you'll get likes.

Another thing, fan interaction. You gotta talk to your fans. Have conversations with them and let them know you care enough to respond to their comments.
