High voltage, allows electricity to pass through resistance skin itself, is somewhat resistant to electricity, that's why you can touch a 9 volt battery without feeling it (but the same battery will shock when its electrodes touch your tongue)

Though electricity is somewhat random, and it ofcourse depends on the route it takes through your body. which is why even lightning strikes can be survived

as defined by google:
Amperage (amps for short) is a measure of the AMOUNT of electricity used. Voltage (volts) measures the pressure, or FORCE, of electricity. The amps multiplied by the volts gives you the wattage (watts), a measure of the WORK that electricity does per second.

Basically electrons 'burn' the sugars? within the bodies cells, essentially killing them, and generating heat
and since amperage is the number of electrons.. more electrons, means more burning, but only if allowed to flow via voltage..

Pssst. did anyone ever throw eggs at your apartmentbuilding?
#15 to #14 - bwiedieter (11/01/2015) [-]
Bruh I don´t even know. I came home at around 0700 and was a little preoccupied.. But there was shaving foam on the doorhandle, I remember that because I grabbed a handfull of it and thought it was **** or some other squishy thing. Was that your cousin or nephew or whatever?

But dude, we had to walk from Essen Main Station... I don´t even know whats wrong with people anymore, it looked like ******* civil war had broken out. And up until like 0200 or something, you couldn´t go out... there were so many no-holds-barred retards out there, fights between different groups of immigrants breaking out, people ******* right there in the streets...

I really have no idea what´s going on in people's heads.
But hey, my friends and me had a good time, one had even brought his super-expensive private stash of Pineapple Haze and **** and just shared it with everyone. Good times

How about you, did you go out on Halloween?
#16 to #15 - profssortwntyight (11/01/2015) [-]
Wow wtf. No my nephew is staying with us at the moment. I asked if someone ever threw eggs. When i showed my nephew where you lived he said, he threw eggs at your building once. And also that when they moved to altendorf, that apartment was one they made a bid at.
My nephew tends to make up stuff though, so i'm not sure if it's true :p

But wtf.. the shaving foam was the most normal thing that happened to you that night then I mean.. Jezus. That's quite the distance in the first place. What the **** why were people so crazy? It sounds like you're describing the ******* apocalypse happening or something. WERE PEOPLE REALLY ******* RIGHT THERE IN THE STREETS?! i mean.. dude i know essen was pretty fcked up but dayum. No wonder my nephews dad wants to move outta there as soon as possible to a better neighbourhood.
Is it always like this?! Or is Halloween when all hell breaks loose in Essen? I kinda wish i could've witnessed it

But yeah, good that you did. And wow that's pretty neat of him. there's this guy asking me to come smoke with him almost every night as well, but then i'd have to sneak out and i'm not that brave haha

Nope. I just.. tried to study for exams... which are tomorrow... killmepls

Well, it was mostly because it was Halloween. It gave the retards an excuse to go ******* , and that´s all they long for. They "dress up" read: wear Guy Fawkes masks and hoodies and get blackout drunk, pick fights with regular passersby, destroy public and private property...
There are a lot of juvenile ********* that have little to no education and show incredibly loud, aggressive and violent behaviour. Most are third-generation arabic or slavic immigrants that listen to hip hop. I know it sounds like I´m stereotyping hard here, but that really is true of literally 99.9% of these people.

It´s bad on regular Friday and Saturday nights, but whenever they get the opportunity for a bit of consequence-free delinquency, it gets multiple times worse. Like, if I was a woman, I honestly wouldn´t leave the house on those nights, at least not in Altenessen. As a guy that has trained in boxing and taekwon-do, I know I can handle any old drunkard who doesn´t know what he´s doing - but as a woman, I´d **** my pants in that situation.

Regarding the ******* , I might have exaggerated a bit. They weren´t on the street itself, but one pair was lying on the pavement, guy on top - and another pair was barely concealed by some barren bushes, 2 metres next to me.

I just had a little taste of the Pineapple Haze (because it tastes absolutely godlike), but as I don´t like the feeling I get on weed, I didn´t really smoke any. I had other ways to have fun ;-)

And yeah, we have like three or four spots on the wall facing the street that could come from eggs. I always thought they were, but now I know

Anyway, i still need to recover, so i´m gonna go have a nice bubble bath now yes, I´m aware that that´s extremely girly, but **** it, it´s nice .

Ahhh i see hahah-*throws up*.. ******* guy fawkes masks man.. **** .
No you aren't stereotyping hard. I'm a 2nd generation immigrant that listens to hiphop and i know essen is packed with them. I am kind of afraid my nephew will turn into one of them. He's smart, really is. I'm not one of those people that praises family just bc they are family. But he has zero good examples there. His family in germany can be pretty ******* INCREDIBLY ÜBERstupid.

Damn yeah. I can kinda imagine how scary it would be to go out there as a girl. But damn, good for you. I wish i was trained in boxing. It's a sport i always really liked.

We were standing in front of Essens library once when a drunk guy randomly sat next to my mom and put his arm over her shoulder and started blabbering. My mom wanted to punch but was scared she'd get into trouble. He ran/stumbled away from her when my nephews dad noticed him.
It was just a drunk middle aged white guy. But it was midday and ye.. that **** doesnt happen where i live haha

Lol. If what you describe is the truth, then in my opinion you didn't barely exaggerated I've never done weed myself. I've never even had alcohol, despite it being legal for several years for me now. I get by just fine :p
Actually people often times thought i was drunk af when i was actually the most sober one :s
What "other ways to have fun"? Throwing eggs at my sisters apartment for revenge? :o

Hah! i guess he wasnt lying then
How's that girly?! ffs. Wish i had a bubblebath

What origins do you guys have?

Imo, you haven´t missed anything by not doing weed and alcohol, really. With alcohol, it´s super easy to have too much, especially when you´re inexperienced.

You drink a beer and start to feel pretty good, and then you think: If I now drank ANOTHER beer, I´d feel twice as good... And hey, let´s have another one to top it off... All while not realizing that you´re not feeling any better, just more drunk.
For me, the smallest amount, like one beer or one whiskey, is relatively nice - everything above that doesn´t have a positive effect. You just begin to slur your speech and start to become more and more idiotic and uncoordinated.
Many people don´t seem to realize that and they just drink as much as possible before they have to vomit, and then they drink some more... It´s actually really disgusting to me, tbh.

With weed, it´s extremely unpredictable. The same joint, with the same amount smoked, can make your buddy grin and laugh and have a good time, and send you into a paranoid thought-loop like this: "oh god i´m about to have an epileptic seizure and oh my god everyone knows i smoked weed what if they tell my dad he´s gonna disown me why am i feeling a thumping in my chest what did my friend just say did he mock me oh god my friend hates me and im having a seizure any second now and how is dad going o react if i die [...]"
No, what I enjoy is MDMA. It doesn´t **** with your head at all, you remain crystal clear during the experience, you are your normal self, you just happen to have happy thoughts in your head and a warm feeling in your chest. And it does that perfectly predictably, safely and (relatively) cheap, without a hangover the next morning. I don´t take it often, as it´s reserved for special occasions, but I really like it.

Boxing is great fun, once you get over that blockage in your head that OH GOD I`M HITTING A GUY IN THE FACE WTF. i actually apologized to my first few opponents right after I hit them "Oh **** , sorry, i didn´t mean it"- BAM, they socked me on the nose...
But it´s the best full-body workout i´ve ever had. You get really fit really quickly with boxing.
For teakwon-do, you have to have a looot of patience, whcih i didn´t have. prepare to do the same 3 movements for weeks until your master says they´re good enough for you to proceed

Hey, if you want your nephew to turn out fine, you really got to get him outta here. How old is he, probably somewhere in that dangerous age between 15 and 20, right? That´s an age where young males are the most impressionable. If they don´t have an anchor somewhere in the family, they´ll orient themselves after their peers, and that can be a path to delinquency.

#2 to #1 - bwiedieter (12/31/2014) [-]
Haha, thanks man! That´s very kind of you!
I´m really quite happy to be here, I haven´t had any trouble up until now, and we are all like a really disturbed and dysfunctional family. We all seem to have something in common, the way we think, the way we´ve been brought up. And that´s cool
Say, are you on Steam?
User avatar #3 to #2 - ballsofearth (12/31/2014) [-]
Trouble will come but since you're here now, there's no escape. You won't can't leave.

No but what you said really makes sense. I see people here calling each other ******* and fags and whatnot and they either do it for fun, as affection or to someone who's actually being an asshole. While when I go out in the so called sane world with normal people, all I see is hypocrisy, double standards and everything that's not normal IMO.

I'm not on steam. Internet is **** here so I don't think I'll be playing good online games any soon. sigh...
#4 to #3 - bwiedieter (12/31/2014) [-]
I´m really interested now, where do you live? I´m from Germany btw.
And that you internet sucks, well... that really really sucks.

Yeah, there is something in the water here that makes people not be rampant assholes OR easily triggered.
And somehow everybody has his/her stories to tell, I think that´s particularly awesome!
#5 to #4 - ballsofearth (12/31/2014) [-]
What did you just say about me?

Oh I did nazi that coming. Sorry mate. Just had to do that.

India. insert a curry joke here

#6 to #5 - bwiedieter (12/31/2014) [-]
Gotta say, those nazi jokes really bomb.
You could say they hit-ler me hard :-|
Damn, India is one of those countries I dream of visiting / living there for a year. I´ve seen pictures of the mountaineous areas that were simply staggeringly beautiful, among the best scenery I´ve ever seen, and by far beating everything I´ve ever seen in person.
And if I imagine myself living there, maybe with a little farm from where I can get everything I need... Man, that´d be awesome.
And regarding curry: I think it´s one of the best meals ever. You can´t get any good curry over here, but an Indian workmate once made me some Vindaloo, and it simply blew me away.
Anyway, I´ll be off for New Year´s celebrations now, I´ll go for a hike into the surrounding hillside of the city I live in (Essen) and try to make some photos of the fireworks.
I´ll see you aroud, mate! Take care ^-^
