That's actually not true in the slightest and that source is not credited. You are full of shit.
#93 - bval (12/30/2014) [-]
The article was published in Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience which is part of Oxford University Press. It is peer-reviewed, respected, and has a relatively high impact factor. You can hardly get more credited than that.

they also do this really shady thing where they mess with the temperature of the one that you are drinking. There is a "optimal" temp that people drink their soda at. so when one is SLIGHTLY off, it messes with us too.

Statistics class made me skeptical of everything....
User avatar #85 - hockerz (12/30/2014) [-]
In taste tests, you're right, pepsi wins - however the taste tests were sip tests, i.e they took a sip to taste it, not a whole can. If you give a whole can then they even out. There's subconscious things at work which is what you were getting at with emotional connections. I dunno man, I feel like they're pretty similar, either way i don't drink either

If the serpernt is not Satan, what the hell is the serpent?
#41 - bval (12/27/2014) [-]
For centuries, the serpent was depicted in art as being part woman. This is because it was commonly believed to be Lilith, the first wife of Adam, in disguise. Note that there are two creation stories: one in Genesis 1, and one in Genesis 2. Genesis 2 has Eve created out of a rib, while in Genesis 1, man and woman are created at the same time.

It could also very well be that the serpent is just a serpent.
