I think they means that Clinton got 2.5 mill more votes in Florida than Trump did.
Looking at the map from >>#50, it looks like Clinton won several states at least ~1 million. Clinton won by a lot inf a few places (large population centres, the places you hear about outside US) which really fits how this entire election appeared. Trump won the people, while Clinton won or owned or w/e the media, celebrities, universities etc.
I'm sure this is old information/obvious, but it was interesting to see represented on the map.

Try looking for a local tea shop. Theres one where I live where you can buy 50+ different kinds of chinese tea leaves by the pound.
