while this is the only thing that does prevent spam, you could also have a system where you're sent a confirmation email. another way would be to limit how many pictures can be posted in a time frame, but text comments are pretty much unlimited (as they are on the first level). while what fagmin is doing is valid, there are many other more efficient ways to go about it.
