actually with reach it was just bungie, 343 only did the map packs
i've only played the demo for darkness 2, it looked pretty good, but still haven't played the full games

bioware is fucking boss at creating expansive, deep universes to set their games in, plus with choices that actually affect outcomes in later games, mass effect is my second favorite game series, and i'm looking forward to the next one. if you couldn't tell, i have a soft spot for massive universes, such as halo, elder scrolls, fallout, mass effect, dragon age, borderlands, mlp, and a few others i can't remember right now

actually switch new vegas with borderlands 2, i fucking love the mechromancer :P

I love the games story telling. Basically Jackie was given the Darkness on his 21st birthday when his sociopathic uncle and don of the mafia at the time let paranoia go to his head and tried to have Jackie assassinated by a rival gang. The Darkness forced Jackie to watch his girlfriend Jenny get killed by his uncle to drive him to give up his sanity for raw destructive power.
