hmm dont know how to solve that issue. i think i ran into something similar once but that is it. it is most likely due to network firewalls on one of your ends.
as for salvador, i kind of see him more as a support character now than a tank. what made brick a good tank was his special. it forced you to get up close, gave you health boosts, attack boosts, you could stun the enemies. salvadors special allows him to stay at a distance.

I dunno...it seems like Salvador is the main character with this game, as with Brick. But yeah...long range specials are better, although Zero changes the Hunter from long range sniper to close range combat with his sword

i'm sure that they will have some way of balancing out the characters. in the first game, the ideal playthrough had one of each character because they all played off of each other perfectly.
