Yeah, it's been a bad first couple of months in the beginning of the year.

It's alright bro, it's alright...
I wish I could find a sad gif or picture in my reaction folder, but I don't have one... D; All I have is that one and a pic of my cat who happened to die a week or so before my dog.

What a beautiful cat, sorry to hear it passed away :(

Oh yes, she was great, especially in her last couple of years, she was very loving. Her nickname was "Chubs" because she was always fat, except for those last few years when her weight kept fluctuating. I think this picture was taken the last time I had a one on one with her because we knew her time was coming soon, she was 20 years old after all. Eventually we had to put her down because she was severely senile and had gotten a bladder infection which was the last straw, we didn't want her in pain anymore and we felt her trying to hold on was just putting her in more pain. Rusty on the other hand was a complete surprise that none of us were prepared for, he simply passed away in his sleep, after doing the math we figured out he was about 16 years old, but to our understanding he really hadn't deteriorated at all in terms of mental state and physical state, he was running around just that day. It really shows how quickly your beloved pets can leave you.

20 is a fantastic age to live up to, one of our old cats, Cassie was 19 when she passed with a severe kidney infection and she was a mad old lady too! Don't you just love it when cats get a little bit chubby?

One of my current cats lillie is getting abit chubby and it's so cute!

At the end of the day I don't what is worse, losing a dog or losing a cat....when I lost my old dog Bridie I thought my whole world had crashed.......

Now the only pet we have is my brothers dog Jack, and I worry about him because he lost his little buddy, they were really close with each other. My parents insist that he doesn't even notice but I can tell, he has a sadness around him, I just don't think it's hit him exactly what has happened. This is Jack, I have super photogenic animals XD

I mean, she was the second cat I had lost, the first was Kitty who had a sudden devistating siezure when she was probably about 17, it was a pretty long while before I could go out in the lanai where she used to hang out without cying. Like I said, we were all prepared for her to pass away, even though we loved her dearly. She might have been old, but she could kick any dogs ass XD one of the meanest dogs in our neighborhood was scared shittless by her and all the dogs we owned knew she was the ruler of the house XD The thing that made it so devastating with Rusty wasn't only the suddenness of his passing but we had adopted him after he was abused so he had a lot of social issues, I single handedly re-habilitated him to be OK with people. Not to say that he would follow people around (Besides myself) or go up to them, but if I placed him in their lap he would sit there pretty content. And he would let them pet him without snapping at them or scuttling away like he used to when we first got him. He was one of the things I was truly proud of myself about. And yes, chubby cats are always preferable XD

ya i cried at the end. it reminds me of my dog Rebel. we had to put him down. his intestines stopped working :(
