| You should have a room filled with dragons and put it somewhere random just to see what happens with your players. Actually, my character (The one who died) and their brother were exploring a cave as kids while still in Academy, and watched their friend get eaten by a Great Wyrm. We're kinda Dracophobic, so that might actually be hilarious | ||

| Yes. Happens, pretty common. WHY? >>#21 , rinse and repeat. Women can't raise dogs for shit. Not all of them, chill. They treat them like fun pets and lack the leadership and character to be tough when they should be to actually make them trained and obedient dogs. It's women who give sneak snacks, it's women who make up for their unfulfilled mother instincts with animals all the time, get overprotective and unreasonable. Who spoil their dogs and bitch at everyone who even dare criticise their pets - which is most likely the reason why the corgi growled at the guy - The dog knows the woman will stand with him, not with the guy, so he gets bossy. He knows he's allowed to. It's pathetic to see that even in places where I'm a bloody guest, dogs listen to me better than to their actual owners, because I, for one, don't act like a little bitch towards them, and they just know. Dogs always know. If they act like in that gif, it's because they don't have any respect. | ||

| I know, I read up to there too, but as said, she secludes herself because she wants to, not because of the cat. Nobody is 'pushed away', they want her away from the cat, but she considers it family and does not want it to leave, so she chooses the cat over them. The cat didn't have a single hand in it. It DOES drain the colour from her, but as said, it doesn't seem to have any negative effect on her; even the butterfly it drained got back up. It's also worth noting that it drained her only when winter time came along, with less black things to eat | ||

| Well any other monster could have killed them, they could have also killed themselves or gone mad or or or. There is a lot of mystery surrounding the comic, the only thing clear about the household is that her parents are dead, and she cannot perceive either the monsters (or anything they effect) or certain places/rooms (due to trauma). She CAN perceive a little of what Kuro does, evidenced by the fact that she acknowledges his strangeness and odd behaviour, as well as the reasons other people call him a monster, she just does not want to accept it and cannot view the exact measure of how much he does. This hints at the fact that he is either not entirely an eldritch horror, OR is a different kind of one. But it never actually shows him being killed. Anything could have happened to him | ||

| Your idea falls apart in that it does not actively keep her isolated from anyone. It has never sent anyone away, and it threatened Maria because she kicked him brutally earlier (yet while she was coming up the walkway to visit, he did nothing). Indeed, it's mentioned by other characters that the cat does not even 'do' anything, all it does is look at you and what you are doing and people just get creeped out by it. It has never prevented anyone from visiting Coco, nor has it prevented Coco from ever leaving. The only times Coco has secluded herself or gone away from others is from her own volition (which the cat is not influencing, considering she only isolated herself because everyone hated the cat and he was the only family she had left), and even then he cannot perceive if she is doing anything unhealthy or wrong. The only thing he knows is when she is 'hurting', and so tries to heal her, as seen before. Your little prose about how you cannot defend a life with a sword, despite the fact that you can do exactly that with one. I know, I read up to there too, but as said, she secludes herself because she wants to, not because of the cat. | But you are speaking out of bias! It is your own dislike of violence and means of force that makes you dislike Kuro, despite the fact that Kuro is entirely friendly (that also means to strangers and children and new people, like the little girl who scared Kuro whenever she could yet he never reacted poorly). The only time he had seriously hurt something or was willing to was when it hurt him before or tried to hurt Coco. I highly doubt it's just a monster defending its food because, as said, he could easily kill anyone else if he felt so inclined. While he may be a monster now, he obviously still considers her his friend as he did when he was a regular cat (and not an anus) It has two reasons to do what it does. It somehow feels love and cares for a small child. OR It has a nefarious scheme. It's a monster inhabiting the corpse of a dead girl's cat so it can keep her isolated away from other people, even those who want to help. I know which side I believe. Also I'm mother fucking Broly. What makes you think I dislike violence? Your idea falls apart in that it does not actively keep her isolated from anyone. | Realistically though, Kuro could easily decimate any monster around with little effort. He can obviously traverse the white lines as well. If he wanted to, he could slay/devour the entire town, much less a little girl and her babysitter + daughter. The fact that he hasn't, and indeed, has listened to and protected Kuro and tried healing her when she was sick should speak much about his benevolence. He's obviously not a bad guy, at the very most he's a symbiotic, feeding off something while helping it. I don't trust a HUMAN to be that benevolent when they perceive to be threatened, let alone a monster's spirit possessing the body of a dead cat. Something will happen and either it or Coco will break. A Monster can not protect a Child in the same way a Sword can not protect a Life. Both draw violence and death by their very nature. This will end in blood and pain. But you are speaking out of bias! Anything could have happened to him Read ahead too, I know. And I believe it may be a good thing short term. These creatures feed on color, so when she's drained they may ignore her the same way she ignores them. But people will notice. Something will change. The odd girl with her monster pet can now walk among monsters? She must be a monster herself. This can only end in tears and pain. | ||
