the main issue with people saying athletes make too much is that they usually willingly increase what they can get paid. merchandise and tickets give the team fucktons of money. would you rather the owners sit with it all or give it to the players who are earning them that money

A good teacher is about more than just a simple degree, just like being a good sportsman is about more than just exercising regularly.

But there are a lot of bad teachers.

And there are a lot of bad sportsmen.

In comparison, but they would absolutely school most semi-pros, while there are plenty of non teachers that would make better teachers than some people who have teaching as an occupation.

Because no one is motivated to become a teacher, why do that, and make a piss-poor salary when there is a thousand other jobs you could do out there and make more more money?

I am motivated to become a teacher though. It may not be lucrative but it is still a very rewarding life style, provided you can handle a lot of stress.

Well, I shouldn't say no one is motivated, I should say many people are discouraged by the pay rates.

As a former McDonald's employee I have to agree. Once a month the homeless shelter would order a huge amount of food for its residents. It was usually 24 medium fries, a few smalls and like 30 McDoubles.

The store I work in, someone ordered 42 Big Macs and 30 doubles...
