 The judicial branch's only power is supposed to be to determine whether or not a legislative branch made law is constitutional. They do not have the power to make laws. Also note, the executive branch cannot restrict guns. And there are not supposed to be federal laws for things like drinking age. It's not that I have a problem with these laws, I just have a problem with the gov't going around the constitution to make them. They should amend the constitution if they really want to do something like that. Follow the intended process, ya know? I'm bisexual, and have absolutely nothing against gay marriage, so sorry if I stepped on any toes. No toes were stepped and I was genuinely curious what you meant by it. Thanks for the clarification. I also have no idea about details of it. Could it be that they gave new ruling on existing law to allow gay marriage because it's weird that they would have such vital steps? | ||
