Obviously this brother was obsessed beyond a healthy point, it was affecting his life and he spent far too often doing it. He obviously had bad relations with his sister already since they didn't communicate anymore (no Facebook associations).

There's a point where it has to end and someone needs to draw the line. A fetish is cool, an obsession is dangerous.

I think it depends on the school and in many cases grades are heavily curved.

It's really confusing in the UK. In America we received exactly what we earned. Nothing more nothing less.
In the UK we were scaled with everyone else in the school.
We took a physics test and the average grade was an 18% but i got a 26% or something like that.
My grade showed up as a B on my report card.

UK marking is set at a fixed threshold, whereas in america it's set against the average score of all the sudents
