I enjoy some good game references and chatting about, you guessed it, games.
My icon is from the SNES/Arcade game U.N. Squadron/Area 88, the first game I ever raged on.

I'm open to Steam invites, and game suggestions.
I'll play some Steam games with you. Hawken is sweet.
I main Skarner and am currently obsessed with Nuclear Throne.
Fuck the Throne.
Getting my hunt on in MH:Generations, if you wanna play, message me, currently HR 60+.

Yes, entire rehabilitation programmes for people with missing bits exist.
Newest advances in prosthetics allow mechanic, battery operated prosthetics to be installed. Control is by muscle or soon by nerve.
Precision allows for feats like picking up an egg and making eggbeat.
Eye coordination is required, the prosthetic does not feel.

Missing muscles can be replaced with a mesh made out of stem cells and pig bladders.
People who lost, say, their leg muscles in an accident can re grow them and go to the toilet without assistance or crutches.

Running is kind of out of the question at this point, but the future has many things in store for prosthetics.

Glasses that relay vision into signals that are picked up by the tongue allow for rudimentary navigation around the house for blind people... Controlling machines with brainwaves is still VERY basic.
