I enjoy some good game references and chatting about, you guessed it, games.

rockstarownage (01/04/2016) [-] my comment was extremely long so i'm putting it into a spoiler. from personal experience. i've had no guidance so take what i say with a grain of salt. invest in some dumbells and a barbell and start running. i do 4 workout sets and it takes about an hour now. i'm lazy as fuck so my body hasn't shaped up this year, but last summer i had a lot of time and i was running on an every other day basis. i actually got really fit, had some nice abs, and my arms looked fantastic I do 50, 30, 30, 30 curl ups with 40 lbs of dumbells (i dont have any flat weights) then i do 50, 30, 30, 30 push ups, usually an extra 10 inclined push ups per set. then i do about 10 lunges to the barbell on the other end of my balcony, and 10 lunges back. for a total of 8 sets. then 10,5,5,5 pull ups. then 15,15,10,10 dumbell curls (20lbs) then 15,10,10,10 barbell curls (30 lbs) i've recently started tricep lifts (idk what they're called, its behind the head with a weight) then i finish up with 70 then 30 normal sit ups, then 30 push ups. i then do two laps up and down the hill beside my house (about .25) miles total, just to run off the workout. i know i'm not getting enough tricep or cardio, but even with what i'm doing, i'm keeping in relative shape even despite spending a good majority of every day in bed. and i do this workout every other day, takes about an hr. i used to run last summer before every workout, i'd run as hard as i could a mile, then i'd lighly run the last half mile, then if i was with friends i'd run a full 3 miles very lightly. if you want your body to look great, you've got to have some cardio. With cardio, my body was very nicely shaped up. Now that i've only been doing minimal cardio, all the muscle and strength i still there, but i've likely got a good layer of fat covering what could be some decently toned arms/abs. But yeah, you'll probably get much better results at a gym or with a home gym, but don't short yourself just because you dont have one. look up some exercises you can do without equipment, and if you can invest in some simple dumbells and perhaps one of those on door pull up bars. Start off light and when your body starts to get used to it, increase reps. after about 2 increases it's probably time to add another set. In general the best easiest thing you can do is at the very least a couple sets of push ups/sit ups. it can be incredibly beneficial even if youre not physically seeing results. decent? decent doesn't cut it you need a lot of money for a basic home gym go for runs, and do pushups and situps simple and dont need machines | ||
