If you apply enough pressure to the skull, the eyes are pushed out a little. Pugs do the same thing because of years of selective breeding that has left em flawed to the point their eyes pop out if they just sleep wrong

it's a deer, they're not the brightest of animals.
if you were to go off of the level of self-awareness of the animals we kill, pigs are likely the worst.
