I think it is very hard to clearly define boundaries here.

I find Skyrim relies a lot more on gameplay, and sheer size, then storyline. I love Skyrim, I completed it in the first 2 weeks, but it is not a game that relies on it's storyline.

they are both awesome games and I would rather have skyrim or arkham city get game of the year then MW3 and guess what.

Game of the year doesn't take multiplayer into much consideration if any at all, it of course would not even be nominated for it's 6 hour campaign......Not against games such as Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, Deus Ex etc. Quite an unfair comparison.

I really don't care I'm just happy people would shut up about MW3. the game is crap end of story.
