I figured out the problem. I had the game installed from my previous ruined disc, and it successfully installed so I think it downloaded the corrupt part. I just deleted the installation and my new disc works fine.

Thanks anyways though.

Y'know, if you just click the green/red thumb, whatever one you selected, it'll 'un-thumb' it.

Dirge of Cerberus is a final fantasy vii spin of game, and my profile picture is of the guy who stars in it. It's a rpg and third person shooter hybrid.
Pretty much every final fantasy game has the little bunny guys, and there's two of them that you can play as a character

Just out of curiosity, which one is dirge of Cerberus, and which one has that bunny and that dude named after a car.

I accidently replied to my own comment. The only final fantasy game I've played in recent memory is tactics, and I can't recall a moogle being names after a cat. Mog? Cait Sith? I guess a cait sith can be referred to as a jaguar, based on the translation of IV I played, where there were enemies called cait sith resembling a jaguar.
I'm sorry if I sounded harsh in my other post. I was most likely drunk and I can get defensive concerning FFIX.

Yeh i know the guy from your profile pic, i played that, kinda enjoyable and it has a nice sense of progression going on, but it's one of THOSE game where you have invisible walls everywhere making it extremely linear, and the history fucked my mind just a little less than legend of zelda timelines.
At any rate, i think i was refering to ffxii or some shit, i remember you begin at rabanestre doing the most overused first quest in rpg gaming history, fucking kill rats for a merchant.

Rabanastre is definitely XII.
I've never played dirge, I just like Vincent because he's the Frankenstein of final fantasy.

Have you actually read Frankenstein?
User avatar
#843437 - bobbybeats (02/21/2014) [-]
No. I'm basing my assumption on all the cheesy horror movies I've seen made during the 50s and 60's that are very loosely based on the book. In most of the movies he's a misunderstood monster.
I think in the book he's just a monster.

#843440 - guiguito (02/21/2014) [-]
In the books and in the movies Frankenstein is the doctor who created the monster, which had no name.
User avatar
#843449 - bobbybeats (02/21/2014) [-]
He's Dr. Frankenstein in most of the movies, and the monster is usually referred as Frankenstein (as in Frankenstein jr.)
There's literally hundreds of movies that are loosely based on the book, so my ignorance is based on the ignorance of Hollywood. It's not really a good excuse, but it's the only one I have.

Not ignorance, and i only know this because of that avgn episode.
Besides the good doctor is like a second character anyways.
