Seeing as how it was send by Ramsay, a man who does not shy from manipulation. I had my doubts with that letter the second I read it
User avatar #90 - bobbybeats (01/18/2014) [-]
I dont think ramsey sent it. He's a fool and roose the goose even says so about him and hes a vey smart man. Actually i think roose sent it. It seemed like blackmail to me regarding mance and his position on the wall, but that only works for me if ramsey is a pawn of roose.
User avatar #92 - eurasia (01/18/2014) [-]
But the thing is, Roose only does things if he knows he will gain something. The only exception being him raping the miller's girl thus making Ramsey. And quite frankly I don't see the gain in getting rid of Jon or having the night's watch march on Winterfell
User avatar #97 - bobbybeats (01/18/2014) [-]
Good point, but he's ambitious and scared.
Ramsey has a claim to winterfell through a supposed arya and with mance a prisoner he has leverage against the bastard on the wall with info on mance being alive and well (kinda).
Now suppose ramsey is a pawn of roose that he built up to bring down and take winterfell for his own.
I think the letter was too clever to be written by ramsey, but it is too eerie for my liking.
I will definately eat my own words if it wasnt written by roose.
Also on how roose would plan to take winterfell if my half assed theory is somewhat correct, i dont know but he seems like the kinda of guy who has an ace up his sleeve.

I would personally hate that. Living as the direwolf would just elimiante so many possibilities.
User avatar #72 - bobbybeats (01/18/2014) [-]
On the contrary.
He could reunite with arya via nymeria and her pack
He could rip out a certain villians "bastard heart and eat it"
He could go to bloodravens lair, but he could obviously do this while alive but it would be easier if he wasnt a human.
He could be rickons somewhat tame wolf, but this could distantly work with my second point.
Do i believe he'll be put back in his body, yes but i think we might get some pure chapters based on the second life before a rhlorr or bran/bloodraven ressurection.
#120 - BloodRaven (02/15/2014) [-]
It seems that way, but it is really just as easy to get to my lair as a human.

Awesome name. I kinda hope that your profile name is taken from my favorite bastard of the asoif universe.
There were wights around the entrance and I can't remember if there were a lot or just a few.

Nope, made this name after playing Dawn of War for the first time and seeing the Blood Raven space marines. I still read Song of Ice and Fire series, but it has been a while for those.

To you and bobbybeats, what if as he is ressurected, doesn't that technically free him of his oath to the watch, as he had died, clearing the way to WInterfell?
User avatar #85 - bobbybeats (01/18/2014) [-]
I made a whole paragraph and a half explaining my thoughts and i accidently hit the next button so im just gonna do a long and short.
If robbs will is universally accepted, sams horn is the horn of joramaun and euron makes him blow it, and my true king stannis is dead then yes, he wouldtake king of the north and still rule the wall. Me thinks we have a potential nights king candidate.
Google euron greyjoy and oldtown and read up on it to see if you buy it. As far as i know the sam blowing the horn is my idea but i wouldnt be surprised if i wasnt the only one who thought of it.
I think jon has a song being sang about him across the realm, and its not the song of ice and fire, but the black bastard on the wall.
User avatar #111 - theshadowed (01/18/2014) [-]
I like Stannis, but I'm a true Daenerys supporter.

If only Robb had married Maergary as soon as Renly was dead. If Catelyn had kept her head, she could've arranged it there and then.
User avatar #119 - bobbybeats (01/19/2014) [-]
There's nothing wrong with supporting Dany, I probably would too if I wasn't completely invested in the ice zombie aspect of the story.

Oh believe me, it's the best thing that I've played so far. Especially Suikoden II. After that, the series went a little downhill, but it's still gold. If you ever get the chance to play it, do so, it won't disappoint you.

Another problem with rs3 is that you kind of get punished for grinding. The enemies level up with you so one battle they can be easy to moderate, and the next battle you will get brutally raped through the urethra.

i actually have one of those on my original game boy still lol. the combat was like an over the shoulder look and it bugged the shit out of me. the fact that the weapons had limited turns it could be used like in fire emblem kind of bugged me so i didn't give it much thought, but perhaps i should give it another try.
User avatar #787309 - bobbybeats (01/03/2014) [-]
I'm not sure if SaGa 3(fflegendsiii) had limited use weapons, but I know saga 2 does and I'm loving it.
If you somewhat liked them you should try romancing saga 3 for the snes. The weapons don't have limited uses, but your skills do unless you heal at an inn. Graphic wise it's very similar to final fantasy VI.
The only problem with it is that it gives you so much freedom to do whatever you want.

were those the ones for the original Gameboy?
User avatar #787152 - bobbybeats (01/02/2014) [-]
Yes. Where you can eat the meat to transform into a monster and stuff.
It's quite a decent remake and the added content is neat so far. I'm only about an hour in on saga 2 so my opinion might change, but I'm really digging it so far.
An example of the added content is that when you pick a class you can decide what your character looks like.
