Even if you did like zombies, you would be dissapointed. They maybe have like at most 5 pages of book time. The cool thing about the wights though is that they seem to be controlled by ice magic by magical ice elves( I swear, it's way cooler than it sounds)

I hated the homoeroticism. Ever since 7 they have been throwing that into every game. I hate that artstyle where every man is a femboy and every girl looks exactly like the guys. Every character is just the epitome of generic anime characters and there is absolutely nothing original about them. The last character I can think of that had even the slightest bit of originality was Sazh.

Unless I am mistaking SaGa for another term I don't believe I have played them.

The final fantasy 12 world was big, but when you got down to it it was all pretty much the same. Most of it was caves, the enemies were just different colored and different statted variations of enemies you see in the beginning, and overall I hated that they introduced these animal characters that look like the came out of Donkey Kong. In the first town all I could think of is "Why the fuck are these kremlings here?"

I think the Last Remnant was a corrected version of 12. There is just so many similarities between the games. I didn't care for Remnants battle system, but that's not because it was a bad system. It was good for some people, but I wasn't one of them.

I enjoyed Final Fantasy 2. Although, if you don't have like a weekend to kill playing it then you need a walkthrough. I hate using walkthroughs in games. It makes it seem like you failed before you even started. Which is maybe why I appreciated 13 more than most people. I really could have cared less that it was linear. I didn't see that as a problem. The battle system was fine if you actually gave it a chance and beat the tutorial level. Don't remember if you liked 13 or not, but whatever.

There were better open world rpg's for the ps2 at that time. Hell, wasn't 12 like right at the end of the ps2's career? They had all that history to use and learn from and yet it still was bad. Not to mention their budget was huge.

Oh, it was the obvious guy all along. I'm so glad I let the game play itself for X hours and wade through the homoeroticism for yet again more homoeroticism in the boss. That game is bad and it should feel bad. The fact that you could break it and use the gambits and a single boss to powerlevel you to max levels means the game is not only bad, but broken as well.

Political drama my ass.

Everything about that game was bad. That game was more hated than 7, 8, 10, or 13. And rightfully so. People bitch about 13 being X to win, but in 12 you didn't even need to press X.

The storyline sucked
The combat sucked
The character sucked
The enemies sucked
The dungeons sucked

Everything sucked.
and the pre-rendered cutscenes were on par with 10's which came out years before 12.

That game displays everything that is wrong with the Final Fantasy franchise.
User avatar #812008 - bobbybeats (01/23/2014) [-]
Wait, you didn't like the homoeroticism?
I'll agree that for an ff game it's kinda shit tier, but for a ps2 rpg it's pretty decent with its huge world and crazy amounts of side quests.
If anything, they should of made it a SaGa game and add a little more openness to it.
Hell, it even had green and red magic which is SaGa all over.
Have you tried the SaGa series? It's pretty cool and the exp system is like final fantasy 2's, except not broken and find intensive.

But the thing is, Roose only does things if he knows he will gain something. The only exception being him raping the miller's girl thus making Ramsey. And quite frankly I don't see the gain in getting rid of Jon or having the night's watch march on Winterfell
User avatar #97 - bobbybeats (01/18/2014) [-]
Good point, but he's ambitious and scared.
Ramsey has a claim to winterfell through a supposed arya and with mance a prisoner he has leverage against the bastard on the wall with info on mance being alive and well (kinda).
Now suppose ramsey is a pawn of roose that he built up to bring down and take winterfell for his own.
I think the letter was too clever to be written by ramsey, but it is too eerie for my liking.
I will definately eat my own words if it wasnt written by roose.
Also on how roose would plan to take winterfell if my half assed theory is somewhat correct, i dont know but he seems like the kinda of guy who has an ace up his sleeve.

I like Stannis, but I'm a true Daenerys supporter.

If only Robb had married Maergary as soon as Renly was dead. If Catelyn had kept her head, she could've arranged it there and then.

Seeing as how it was send by Ramsay, a man who does not shy from manipulation. I had my doubts with that letter the second I read it
User avatar #90 - bobbybeats (01/18/2014) [-]
I dont think ramsey sent it. He's a fool and roose the goose even says so about him and hes a vey smart man. Actually i think roose sent it. It seemed like blackmail to me regarding mance and his position on the wall, but that only works for me if ramsey is a pawn of roose.

I would personally hate that. Living as the direwolf would just elimiante so many possibilities.
User avatar #72 - bobbybeats (01/18/2014) [-]
On the contrary.
He could reunite with arya via nymeria and her pack
He could rip out a certain villians "bastard heart and eat it"
He could go to bloodravens lair, but he could obviously do this while alive but it would be easier if he wasnt a human.
He could be rickons somewhat tame wolf, but this could distantly work with my second point.
Do i believe he'll be put back in his body, yes but i think we might get some pure chapters based on the second life before a rhlorr or bran/bloodraven ressurection.
