In Norse mythology, Thor (from Old Norse Þórr) is a hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind, and also hallowing, healing, and fertility. The cognate deity in wider Germanic mythology and paganism was known in Old English as Þunor and in Old High German as Donar (runic þonar ᚦᛟᚾᚨᚱ), stemming from a Common Germanic *Þunraz (meaning "thunder"). Straight from wikipedia.

Bolvar Fordragon was an Alliance Hero, he was supposedly killed at the Wrathgate, but was only captured by the Lich King. Ner'Zhul then tortured him almost endlessly, unable to break the paladin. When Tirion Fordring and <Insert Raid Party Here> killed the Lich King, Bolvar showed up, put on the crown, telling Tirion that there must always be a Lich King to direct the scourge, or the undead would swarm over Azeroth like locusts. He tells Tirion that nobody must know what happened, and to tell the people of Azeroth only that the Lich King is dead.

Which is all bullshit, because the Lich King would've just wiped out everyone and resurrected them as Death Knights. He does kill the entire raid too, at the end of the fight.

I stopped paying attention to Warcraft Lore right before The Lich King Died. But I do know that it's because Bolvar Fordragon was reborn in Red Dragonflame and donned the Helm of the Lich King, becoming the new one.

Had the Lich King played his cards smart instead of stupid because it's basically a comic book villain story in WoW, he would've wiped out all life on azeroth very quickly.
All he had to do was walk out of Icecrown and kill anyone who stood against him. Would Dalaran be able to withstand an attack from the Lich King, a flock of Deathwyrms, and an army of the living dead? Nope, not a chance.
User avatar #282 - bluenapalm (04/18/2012) [-]
thats because arthas was keeping the lichking in controll, trying with all his power to hold back the massive army of undead in his power, and even still the new lichking isnt dead history is doomed to repeat there eventually

Your so dumb it makes me understand why most Christians can be so misguided, the stars didn't impregnate our mothers the first humans were a result of stars going supernova and the atoms like hydrogen and etc that make up our bodies were spread into the universe so that we could exist, and have mothers who get pregnant in the normal way which i hope your not too stupid to understand.

If you understood the theory behind the big bang you would understand what he was talking about. After the big bang the most complicated atom was Hydrogen. It wasn't until the formation of stars and then their deaths through supernova explosions that denser elements were created. So, all the elements in our universe denser than Hydrogen and its isotopes are in fact the product of stars. That is quite a simplistic explanation, but the general idea is there.

If you're going to say something as brash as "this man needs to be made sterile so his stupidity cannot be passed down," you should probably make sure that you haven't already made an ass of yourself. Indeed, your first statement is negated by the statements after, which are also quite juvenile and lacking of any sort of intellectual thought.
User avatar #340 - bluenapalm (03/29/2012) [-]
So your agreeing with him that our bodies that were birthed by our parents are made from stardust.... from differant stars? cause thats what i was talking about. i guess i diddnt make myself clear enough. i said it was the way he said it was wrong, not WHAT he was saying was entirely wrong. and its the internet bub. everyones a ass you cant sit there and tell me that you have never made statements like that all you like if you want to go deeper into that topic.
