I'm someone that's more into personality than the body, and even then her body isn't that great.

She's got the worst personality in the entirety of DBZ. And that's including Broly.

She's a shallow and extremely angry person that tries to keep her kid from fighting the evil only he can defeat just so he can "do well later in life." Completely missing the idea that there's no way to do anything in that life if the Earth is destroyed.

Completely breaks Gohan's character down after Goku isn't around to keep him training too, so now he's useless despite his power.

Unless there's some appealing factor I'm not aware of, then she's a pretty bad character... And she does not look good, but that's just a matter of opinion.

Wanting to keep your kid safe is fine.

Wanting to keep him sheltered and not use what strength he does have because you don't like it is another thing entirely.

Wanting to make sure your kid is smart is fine.

Wanting your kid to be smart for your sake is another thing entirely.

She didn't want Gohan to be like Goku, that's fine. That's excusable. But Gohan liked fighting, was good at it, and didn't have brain damage like Goku did so he was very book smart already. Making him throw all that way and potentially putting the entire world at risk because of it just makes her a shallow minded character.

He wasn't allowed to even train at home up until the tournament when Goku came back. So that reasoning falls out. She let Goku do what he wanted because she couldn't stop him, but she could stop Gohan when Goku wasn't around and she did.

The only really weird part about that is why Goten wasn't treated the same way, but I guess she did miss Goku's childish antics and didn't want to make Goten another Gohan since Goku was, at that point, not coming back as far as she knew.

But Gohan wasn't allowed to train at all up until the tournament. That's more than just trying to keep him from ditching the family to train.

So now she's a filthy Red Mage?

Well, yeah, but this one was pretty specific. Like they're just at school and suddenly, bam. They can each do something unique and the guy is a really over dramatic person... Or something.

But that being said, I've got one friend I've known since I was 12 or so that I'm still on good terms with. He doesn't play games much though since he's got a crappy computer, but he's still nice to talk to.

Rant :

The things that really kill it are the fucking flashbacks.

There's far too many of them and they fuck the flow of the show so badly. They even have flashbacks to parts that actually happened (in terms of the timeline) in the show but they didn't show it when it should have happened. It's like they couldn't trust you remembering things for more than 1 episode it so they just fabricate a flashback when it's needed and instead of being cool it feels tacked on.

And don't even get me fucking started on that first episode. No doubt it was pretty awesome, but the creators realized that they didn't have much to work with after that so they had to backpedal the entire fucking story through a giant fucking flashback. Not only is the flashback is poorly telegraphed, it literally took a whole episode for me to realize that we were in flashback territory It goes on so long that it actually goes past where the first couple of episodes left off. In other words, they had to fuck the entire structure of the story to get that cool first episode.

Even with all of the pacing problems and narrative issues they still found a way to shove an entire episode dedicated to a pool party, I'm not even kidding.
which would be ok if the characters weren't paper thin moe blob archetypes
but they are
the tone changes was fucking jarring and annoying as well
which would be ok if they were doing a genre deconstruction in the vein of madoka magica
but they weren't
they were doing the moe blob stuff unironically then trying to play the emotional torment stuff seriously
