| So... This is a picture of two legendaries and a shitty pop singer? Hold the fucking phone man. Both MJ and Freddie are legends, Deacon might not be as famous, but he still belonged to an amazing group. And you can't deny that, the music they did was amazing, regardless of your tastes. I didn't mean that MJ was shitty just because he was a pop singer. Let me expand on my original statement: So... This is a picture of two legendaries and a shitty singer who happens to sing pop? yeah no... you have no idea about music i'll end this conversation with queen were nice, i won't deny it. but they weren't a legend. not even by a long shot. MJ, he took pop to another world. and as a singer, he was even better. so please don't internet anymore, i will also not reply anymore I make one reply and all of a sudden "I'm ending this conversation"? Do you do that to other people too? I can just imagine someone coming up to you and asking how your day was and you reply with "This conversation is over." On that note, pop music is kinda shitty. However, that aside, MJ was a terrible singer. I've listened to pop music (and even found a few songs that I liked), but I cannot stand MJ. And since when is Queen not legendary? If we're gonna be totally fair here, Queen are at least as legendary as MJ. Queen didn't have the best music of all time, sure, but then again neither did MJ so that's a moot point. Legendary doesn't mean that you are making the best music of all time and nothing else. So, to conclude, fuck you. alright, you're right, i mostly talked here with other people rather with you. i didn't said MJ was a legend. but he is the best pop singer in the short history of pop (the genre pop, not pop as to what ever is popular) if you seriously think his singing skills are shit then you have no idea what you are saying. his high notes are amazing. and no, queen are overrated. they're music is nice, but they don't deserve to be legends and to me, they never will be. you want legends? Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Louis Armstrong, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Janis Joplin, Led Zeplin, Cream, Van Morrison, The Kinks(britpop legends), Steely Dan, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Elvis Presley, Bob marely Well, clearly the problem here is that I'm not afraid to admit that some music made after the 90's is pretty good too. Out of all those artists/bands you just listed, I only like one (Santana), and only like a handful of songs from a few others (Elvis, Cream, Beetles)... Again though, they are legends because of their popularity. In all honesty, nothing that any of those people did was especially groundbreaking (except maybe for Elvis)... the fuck you talk about? hendrix took the guitar to it's limit. the beatles, the stones, elvis and cream are pretty much the base of rock n' roll. clapton the beck took blues rock to a new lever Robert Jhonson and BB king (which i forgot to list) are two of the best blues players ever louis armstrong is with no doubt the best jazz singer. lennon, joplin and morrison were all amazing rock singers, all of them, even though morrison did a lot of jazz and soul. steely dan are the ones who made jazz rock a known genre marely i don't even need to talk about the kinks are like i said britpop legends, they're the basic britpop and the rest contributed rock, each in his own special way. Every artist ever contributes in "their own special way". Seriously, people like you are the reason I don't like to discuss music (right up there with politics and religion on my list of 'topics most likely to get me shot'). Music is music, people will like what they like. So fuck anyone who claims that one person did something new or innovative that was so fucking awesome it single-handedly revolutionized a whole genre. Unless they were literally the ones designing new instruments (like electric guitars) then they are not innovators, they are just using innovative technology. And do you know how many people can use innovative technology? Fucking anyone. Also, I agree MJ's vocal talent was good. Doesn't change the fact that his songs sucked balls (in my opinion). i would agree if we were to talk about music today. but no, each of those singers (or at least most of them) contributed to music in ways that change it's face. and like i said, hendrix took the guitar to its limit, what he did with it, people never done before and somethings people still aren't able to. hendrix is seriously the biggest legend of modern music. i love argueing, as long as both sides use good points and opinions worth sharing, it's the best way to learn no, not anyone... you opinion. i also bet your favorite genre is rock Well, say what you want, but I don't hear anything from any of those artists that stands out significantly from anything else being made around those times. Music is not static, it is fluid. It changes over time with the influence of those making it and those listening to it. Have there been some artists who have made big strides? Sure. But I wouldn't go so far as to credit only a single artist with any big change in music. As do I. But most people don't use good points and simply resort to trying to shout their opinion louder. Which is why I usually avoid arguing entirely. Okay, true, you need money to purchase the instruments. But anyone who can afford it can use it (which, last time I checked, is just about anyone making music. Only people who care about making music are going to be excited over revolutionary technological improvements to instruments anyways...). Nope, that's my second favorite. While the majority of the songs I like are in fact rock, it is not my favorite genre as I prefer my few dubstep/house songs over my many rock songs. On an aside note, my favorite subgenres of rock are metal and symphonic (hammerfall and nightwish ftw). | ||

Hello sir. I have noticed you aren't an item collector, but you do have a good amount of FJ points.
Now, if you don't collect items, these points are useless to you.
So i'm asking you sincerely, might you be willing to share some of those poins with me?
You could make me very happy, and I will use them for the great cause of item science.
Sorry for bothering you, and thanks for considering.
