Just avoid lying as much as humanly possible, if your colitis is an old case and isn't "recurring" you could be ok, but if you walk into the recruiter's office don't say it affects you often.

colitis will not get you in, you will be turned down. Any nontreatable illness will keep you out, and if you do decide to try and continue, and the recruiter tells you to lie, if they look at your med records and see it you could face jail time.

This will sound cheesy, but if you want to be a hero, get out there on the streets and try to get into work that leads to change in society for the betterment and prosperity of all and sundry. It would make a much greater difference if your heart is in it. Joining the military doesn't make you a hero, and even if people like to say that "You'll be protecting your country, son", that's not the truth. Soldiers protect their politicians' and corporations' political and economical interests, nothing more. It's not WW2 anymore, basically.

That's my standpoint, feel free to disagree.

It's a mod that makes you high king of skyrim. You can do all sorts of new shit like sentence people to jail, death, arena... death.

it's still nothing.
It was enough to make me want to jerk off to it.
seriously, just look at them screens and art. it's probably gonna be like with Warband, the release. It came out half a year later, after constrantly postponing the game.
on the forums they've been claiming the game is to come out halfway through October. a developer claimed the game was to come out at the end of September. some people claim the game will come out this year. I seriously hope it comes out this year. I might damage some things around me if I don't get a either Bannerlord or AC Blackflag anytime soon

#72 - xxhadesflamesxx (10/08/2013) [-]
well in the meantime there are great mods and also while it probably won't be released this year(although if it was I would die of happiness) it looks like its going to be great so I say lets not get too anxious because making a game takes time and making a good game takes more time so when it comes out it will probably be amazing

Okay, this was acceptable, but I implore you do resist the urge to post this picture at any other time.

The thing is, it's actually funny; if you post it too much, it will drive it into the ground faster than Moon Moon and I don't want to see that happen

Of course it bothers me. It's an actual FUNNY picture, with funny material, that can be used in a variety of different wants and nearly always brings a good chuckle with it.

But these people don't seem to understand that if you tell the same joke too many times, it stops being funny and it will make it irritating for everyone. These people are so obsessed with jumping on the band-wagon and getting more thumbs that they don't even realize they are killing what sustains them.

It's just taken from a funny post about a guy's adventures in Skyrim. He downloaded a mod allowing him to become High King and went around ruining all those who insulted him or were just plain annoying. It would always begin with someone just being rude, captions saying (lets take the first picture for example) "This child wants me to lick his father's boots", and then it would turn back to him, saying "Unfortunately, I am the High King of Skyrim" and he would then sentence them to death, or imprisonment for kicks

Honestly, its a rough time to join the armed forces. The army is known for basically letting everyone in, but that is no longer the case. They expect... more. Many things that normally would have gotten a slap on the wrist is now getting you kicked out of the military. Thats a con of the new army. Another is terrible hours... You will work more than you ever have in your life. I joined late, I was already 22 and had a few labor intensive jobs. Army blew it out of the water for initial training. And if you do go the extra mile and do something like SF or Rangers, it will keep it up.

A pro is you will always look sexy with your shirt off. You just have to worry about having 3 different tan lines. Another is that you get free education. I came in with a few credits, but I'm currently about 2 classes away from my associates. And thats with me slacking off. Plus, once you get out, free school full time.

As a medic, I'm fully qualified to go out and work on an ambulance right now. I am the master of my job, and no matter what job you pick in the military, you will be the master of that job. Just try and pick something that works outside the military as well as in. I think thats a major pro, though.

Sorry, post is getting a bit long, but last thing. Go to school first. Older and wiser, I think the saying is. Go to your local college, and talk to ROTC. They pay for a good chunk of your schooling, and you go into the military as an officer. A newly commissioned 2nd Lt makes more than a retired Sgt Major of 20 years. I'm getting out in another 2 years, and going back to school. If I do come back into the service, its going to be as an officer.

Then go for it dude. The most dangerous that will be is that you'll be out in the cold and heat.

The benefits far outweigh the (very few) cons. You get discounts at places, if you wear your uniform you get free meals all the time, at the bar you get free drinks, etc. Plus you get a pretty decent pay and you don't have to spend it on housing and food.

Probably something I haven't mentioned, I have Colitis, which the doctors are thinking it could turn to cancer or something along the line. Either way, it's a chronic disease, so I was thinking, I want to do the world.
I don't want to die young and live shitty life. When I was a little kid, I always wanted to be the hero. Hell, maybe I can turn into one now.

Hey man just some advice for the future... If a girl is stressed out there is a good chance she will miss her period. Just the thought of possibly being pregnant can cause a girl to miss.

I've had 2 pregnancy scares with my girlfriend and each time, within a day of her taking the pregnancy test and it coming out negative, she had her period.

Try not to freak out about a missing period, there are a huge number of factors that can contribute to a girl missing one. save the freak out for when a test comes out positive.
#2 to #1 - blahred (08/01/2014) [-]
Thanks, I will definitely keep that in mind. But seeing how I'm still in my teens, I'm sure I'll freak out regardless my best attempt not to. It's hard to reason when one is scare.
