mastercolossus (01/11/2016) [-] it can be recovered doofus. if its just data you want recovered take the hard drive out and rinse it gently to get some of the soap off it then sit it in mineral oil to get all surfaces soap free then use ph neutral isopropyl alcohol to get the mineral oil off if the motor cant run in the mineral oil. the volatile alcohol will dissolve enough so you will be fine. you could also rinse it a million times with pure h2o. as for the whole laptop the screen is mostly sealed so soap couldnt get in to certain parts. replace motherboard and processor. if battery had a significant charge it might have damaged some of the components. but if you are rich enough you could replace parts till it works. now go in the corner and cry snowflake. #89 -
