They thumb you down but don't respond.

You know you're going in the right direction when they're upset but can't refute.

"most likely"

Nah bro, give me the specific context behind the Hadith passage. You're the master of Islam after all.

not "most likely" treason, literally treason

its the main reason the death penalty is seen as a necessity, especially at times of conflict
User avatar
#155 - bladeboy (8 hours ago) [-]
So leaving Islam is treason and should be punished by death. Cool.
User avatar
#158 - masterboll (8 hours ago) [-]
when the two sides only consisted of muslims and infidels, treason would be occurring at the same time as leaving islam

people leave and come back to islam all the time. few people give a shit about it (or even have to know about it) unless leaving islam causes military or political complications.
#178 - thedraconian (7 hours ago) [-]
You do know that to this day, people who leaves Islam within muslim communities are condemned to death even by their own families.

#184 - masterboll (6 hours ago) [-]
you mean religious fanatics and people who pretend to be on the side of communities out of fear?

No, I mean muslims who implement sharia laws in their countries or closed communities. The ones you don't see in the news.

Um, do you understand German?
www.welt.de/politik/deutschland/article157300319/Reutlinger-Gewalttaeter-griff-spontan-zum-Doenermesser.html
If not, here's what google translate does to the first few sentences: "Reutlinger perpetrators attacked spontaneously Dönermesser

The bloody knife attack of a 21 - year-old was fatal for his girlfriend . The perpetrator attacked spontaneously weapon when it came to battle with the pregnant woman . The body will be autopsied ." Heh. Dönermesser translates to "kebab knife".
To be honest, they actually don't know very much more. There may be some background details missing up unitl now.

to begin with, the last two aren't from the Qur'an, and with all those "objectively Islam criticing" websites you'll find literally anything. The way they cite the Qur'an is hilarious itself.

And about your citation
It describes how god looks down on those who refuse to believe in his existence and says he will punish them in the afterlife. Nothing new about that, it doesn't tell you to go to random civilians and murder them. It doesn't stand in conflict with 2:256.

k

He who disbelieves in Allah after his having believed, not he who is compelled while his heart is at rest on account of faith, but he who opens (his) breast to disbelief-- on these is the wrath of Allah, and they shall have a grievous chastisement.

— Quran 16:106

Here's punishment as descirbed in some Hadiths, literature that many muslims and Imams believe is as important as the Quran.

Allah's Apostle said, "The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims."

— Sahih al-Bukhari, 9:83:17,

A man embraced Islam and then reverted back to Judaism. Mu'adh bin Jabal came and saw the man with Abu Musa. Mu'adh asked, "What is wrong with this (man)?" Abu Musa replied, "He embraced Islam and then reverted back to Judaism." Mu'adh said, "I will not sit down unless you kill him (as it is) the verdict of Allah and His Apostle.

— Sahih al-Bukhari, 9:89:271

I think Cruz speaking out against him is a step in the right direction if the Reps want to get off the "most hated party" list in America. Trump symbolizes a lot of the harsh negatives of the Republican party and sweeps the positives under the rug. I've always considered myself a pretty grey area when it came to politics and could never pick one party over the other, but Trump doesn't seem like he has a grasp on the reality of the world and Hillary is basically bought by the corporations. It's honestly a sad time for be an American because it's a choice between hanging yourself or slicing your throat.

To be fair, the chances of Trump winning are pretty slim. He has his own party against him. Not saying that will make them vote Democrat, but they may refuse to vote at all or go independent.

You weren't in the hot days. You know nothing. You don't know the feeling of driving in a car with the AC going and your back still getting sweaty . You don't know the feeling of driving and having your left arm get a tiny bit sunburnt.
