I get bullied enough in real life. I hate getting bullied in the one place where I used to feel safe and welcomed. Seriously, when I made my first account like three years ago, everyone I met was so nice and cool. I made a lot of friends here and rarely ever got any hate. Actually, whenever I would comment about my gender (When it was relevant, of course), people here would be really understanding. Now it seems like the entire site fucking hates me.

I'm really sorry to hear that, I mean I sorta know how you feel in terms of bullying, but I'll never know what it's like to be bullied in the way you have had to suffer through. This site used to be very "liberal" when I first came here as well - very opened and understanding - now it feels like as though they've gone more close minded and asshole-esque. It saddens me a lot, actually. I wish I could offer up advice to counter the bullies, but unfortunately you probably have A) heard everything and B) know as much as I do when it comes to that shit. I hope you know though, that you aren't alone , in that being you have people by your side - like me - so don't fall for the thought you're out numbered. It's just the assholes who are the most vocal on the internet and in reality.

I think that this is a shit time for transgender people. I mean, gays are becoming very widely accepted and there are tons of popular gay characters on mainstream t.v and everyone seems to be in support of gay rights. But transgenders are fucking non existent. Almost no one even knows what transgender really is, and the few times there's ever a trans character in something it's always really inaccurate and offensive. Aside from Jerry Springer and shitty comedy movies, transgenders are never mentioned ever. I'm a writer, and that's one of the things I'm going to write about. I'm working on a book right now where the main character is transgender. But it's not like the entire plot revolves around her being trans, I mean it's the basis for her origin story, but it's still going to be a cool sci fi story. Even her back story isn't going to focus entirely on the trans thing. It's mostly a story about how frightening growing up is and how awkward and depressing your teen years can be. I want it to be something that everyone can relate to, not just trans people. And I want to portray her in a way that makes people understand her and feel sorry for her. I want to make her likable and relate able. And I want to put her in situations that everyone can feel bad about. And there's going to be a lot of transphobic characters in it. I want to portray them the way the racists were portrayed in Django Unchained. I want to make them look as fucking stupid as possible. There are also lots of other characters who are equally as likable and have equally depressing back stories. I want to make four books, but I might just make it a trilogy. In a way, the story is kind of like Perks Of Being A Wallflower meets Doctor Who meets Beetlejuice.

Those sound like really good ideas for books actually. Especially if you can make it relate-able for people reading it, like as though they're in that main characters shoes. It'll give people a good sense of what its like. As much as its garbage that transgenders don't have the movement that the gays do currently, there will be a time when they get their start. At least as of now people know that the term itself even exists or have general ideas of what it is. I know TV portrays them terrible, but in all honesty at least its a start, it gives you a foot in the door to get somewhere and change the way its been. Every discriminated group of people have had to go through that. It's not too say i agee with how they're portrayed or that they should be portrayed that way, I'm just trying to at least give a positive light to it. I mean, 10-20 years ago, if you said transgender people wouldn't even know that's a word let a lone a person, so at least there's that. It's just too bad when people DO think about what it is, its inaccurate. But as I said, you have to start somewhere, even if you gotta clean up some shit to start off.

That's possible actually. I suppose it depends, i mean everyone's threshold (though being sawed in half is pretty fucking painful if my calculations are correct) is different so not everyone would pass out. It's worth a shot either way, especially on them.
