you have muscle memory, once you put on that amount on tension on the muscle it remembers just as a guy with a skilled talent. so when you lift again your body knows the tension from before and builds up extremely quickly because you have been there before.

once you have been there, you can easily get there again.

you can build up lost muscle after a year with no workouts in a 1-3 months
