No movie, no joke, just what I have heard from coworkers from out that way, and it's funny to hear the one coworker from Flint say he is afraid to go to Detroit, knowing I've been down in bad parts of Detroit a few too many times.

The Mayor has been replaced by an "Emergency Manager", but that's only about the financial situation, the city is wrecked in certain parts. In Flint, people will chop down houses for almost no reason, just thinking the guy they wanna kill is in the house... They will shoot a house up with no remorse, even if kids are in there, just to hope to kill a guy who only looked at them the wrong way...
