We've never been to a World Series and only to the playoff like 5 times in 40 or so years. If enjoy dying inside every time you turn on the TV the Mariners are the team to watch.

while usually not an underdog my favorite team is the new york yankees who have the most championships in SPORTS after the glasglow rangers, 54, (did a bit of google) but that isnt even top tier soccer like the the premier league

also try watching the world baseball classic. it's very exciting and pretty much the world cup of baseball but you know, nowhere near the popularity exccept in the dominican republic where baseball is king

Unfortunately MLB doesn't stream their games without you paying for it. You could subscribe for that at MLB.com . Not sure how it works in other countries but a friend of mine (he's a sorry Giants fan) did that and he was able to stream to his Xbox, phone, etc. I guess the best way to follow is to start at MLB.com and go from there.

My only real concern about Trump is that he galvanizes democrats to vote against him when they otherwise wouldn't vote at all.

Actually, it's just strategy. When you're only real selling point "Hey I say what I mean" then apologizing would destroy what little street cred you have.

Thing is though, Trump's big fucking mouth will also be his downfall. He's obviously not going to win the nomination, let alone the presidency, and he'll be left not only having spent tons of his own money on the campaign, but having lost HUGE business partners while making inflammatory comments.

With the kind of numbers he's polling right now, that would be devastating to the right wing. They would never beat the democrats after losing trump's base as it is. You have your timeline incorrect. Vietnam and Korea (and Germany) were partitioned, as you say, right after WWII. Our escapades brought Chinese and SOVIET attention, but you know what, we still all have to sign a draft card when we hit 18 years old.

We didn't lose the Korean war. We ended with what we started with, and technically the war's not even over, since no treaty has been signed.
I know you didn't say North Vietnam, but that doesn't detract from the fact that our involvement towards flushing out the communist party didn't adversely affect the outcome of what is now Vietnam. (I know the aftermath of the 'conflict' but from what it is now to what it could have been are probably the same)
Lastly, the fact that we have a military this enormous just from a volunteer service is a GOOD thing, and we didn't lose any ability to draft, regardless.

Nothing about honesty inherently warrants respect. Any idiot can be honest. Yeah, Trump doesn't try to hide his views at all, but his views don't warrant any respect. While I'd certainly like a politician to be honest, I'm not going to say, "Well, he may be a lunatic, but at least he's honest! He's got my vote!"
