The only point I was trying to make with the mental analogy was that they are STILL accountable for doing it. You couldn't just let a person who has something that wrong with them that they'd hurt other people out into the public again.

And I don't think you're seeing "niggers" the same way I am. The way I see it, a "nigger" is a black person who enforces their own racial stereotypes, not an underprivileged black person. You can be a black person without many chances and NOT be a "nigger", just how you can be Southern and not be a "redneck". In the end, what I'm saying is, any black person born after desegregation who acts like a "nigger" can't blame anybody, or any group of people, for what they are.

And on a side note, there have been many times where white people have enslaved other white people, and peasants in the Medieval feudal system may as well have been slaves, so saying this has a lasting affect on the actions of a group of people isn't exactly accurate.

True, they are held accountable, just as any black person is if they commit a crime. The difference is that while one was done out of a mental disturbance, the other was done out the way the person thinks. In other words, one can't help but to be violent, while the other was led to believe that is the way they must act to survive. I'm not saying bad black people shouldn't be put in jail--they should. I'm saying we need to realize why they are bad to begin with.

And that's exactly how I see "niggers" as well, those who enforce their own racial stereotypes. But the fact that "niggers" arose and became what they are today stemmed from the social injustices of their ancestors and even today. "Niggers" are their own group within the black community, much like rednecks are in the White race, but rednecks seem to have grown proud to be rednecks, which unfortunately seems to be what is happening with "niggers". "Niggers" are now proud to be "niggers" and that could've been stopped had black slaves been given true, fair equality when they were freed. And sure, there are other black people in ghettos, but "niggers" are only born in ghettos, that's the only place you'll find them living and reproducing. It's only those black people who can escape the mentality that is placed on these ghettos that are not "niggers".

There's a difference between that slavery that you speak of(white ruling white) and the American version(white ruling black): It was one whole race of people attacking a whole other race of people. It wasn't just that there was a king who wanted power over his peers. No it was a WHOLE group of people wanting power over another based on only their skin and belief that Africans were animals. So comparing the two types of slavery isn't exactly plausible.

That's like saying a person with a mental deficiency who ends up hurting someone in some way, and saying "Oh, they can't help being that way."

It doesn't matter who's fault it is or why they did it, bottom line is that they did it and something needs to be done about it.

Not only that, but saying that they don't have a choice to be "Niggers" in this day and age is kind of bullshit. College's give you scholarships/bonuses for being of African American decent and applying to college, not to mention there ARE public schools so it isn't like you can't get an education and a career and end up in a much better position. Fuck, there are homeless kids who are still in my school.

Point being, you can't blame anyone but yourself for you act and what you do.

No, that's not like that at all. A mentally handicapped person really can't help but be that way. African repression on the other hand could have not happened allowing black people to mature and advance on their own and not be held back(at least not by another race).

It's only those black people that not just choose to change but are also fortunate to be able to go to college that make the difference. So they're starting off as "niggers" and having to work into becoming acceptable by society. Granted, going through the public school system, as messed up as it is, could bring one to a better position, but when your starting off in a really bad position to begin with, it seems almost unachievable.

Yes, you as an individual are accountable for your actions, but as a group, such as your race and it's place in society, you pretty much have no control, or at least African-Americans didn't until recently.

Somebody finally understands. It's nothing genetically wrong. It's because essentially when Slavery ended, rather than compensate these people who own nothing, they just said 'you're free, go', 'oh and by the way you're still going to be segregated for many more years'.
