Well, in Japanese, they're likely a different kind of snarky, as Japanese rarely use puns the same way most English/European languages do. They're likely more direct, saying something like "yes, you sure know how to look cute.", "I agree, because that's likely the only talent you have." But I dunno. And Japanese do make puns sometimes, and they sure know how to be hella snarky, just usually in a different way.

One word for pretty in Japanese is "kirei", which also means "clean".
A pun could be made with that, but I doubt it, becuz 4kids.

>Japanese do make puns somtimes

More than sometimes. Japanese contains a lot of homophones, spoken and written. There are numerous words with the same/similar pronunciation, but different meanings. Conversely, there are thousands of kanji (written characters), a number of which can have multiple readings (some more common than others). Between the spoken and written forms of words and phrases, there can be multiple layers to the meaning.
As such, the nature of Japanese lends itself very well to puns, double entendres, and malapropisms. Wordplay is extremely common in Japanese humor.

As I remember they do use many puns. The only one that comes to mind right now however, is one line that Sebastian Michaelis keeps saying in "Kuroshitsuji". As I remember it, every time someone asks him why is he so amazing, he usually answers "that's because I am one hell of a butler" , but the way he says it can also be translated as "I am a butler from hell" the joke is that Sebastian is, indeed, a demon from hell, and all the amazing "butler deeds" he does are thanks to that little fact, which of course almost no one knows. I don't remember the exact thing, but it was something between those lines. the manga is quite interesting, although I may have a few homo undertones

Japanese doesn't even have 'insults' (not as we know them at least). Chances are it says a completely different thing in nihongo.

Well, the older seasons were dubbed by 4Kids. Chances are that it was a different insult entirely.

**bakagaijin used "*roll picture*"**
**bakagaijin rolled image**I don't know if there is a direct translation to that since I doubt that they use a word for word translation... But what do I know I'm just a stupid foreigner

I meant the joke. I doubt they have the phrase 'pretty [adjective]' in Japan.

What about the original trilogy
So other than going to save Luke on Hoth, how did was Han shown to be Luke's friend. Most of what you see is Han seeing Luke as a love rival for Leia.
Even Han and Chewie seem to be coworkers at most.
