Then I made a mistake, the 6 minutes is how long it takes to die. But 6 minutes is not 8 seconds, and it's certainly not 8 seconds of being able to breath well enough to scream.

After five to ten minutes of not breathing, you are likely to develop serious and possibly irreversible brain damage.

it takes a trained ufc fighter seconds to pass out after being put in a choke hold. idk where you got the idea that it would take 6-8 min to lose consiousness

If a police officer and a suspect were struggling with the intensity of the UFC light heavyweight champion, resulting in the suspect already being out of breath, and the circulation was completely cut off as well, it still wouldn't have taken 8 seconds. The one in the video was 15 seconds, with a knee to the diaphragm before, expelling any good air in his lungs. If a cop can choke a man out faster than the UFC champ, then perhaps it was not a cop and was instead a 5 foot chimpanzee dressed in a police uniform.

He held the choke 45 seconds after the guy went limp? I never read that anywhere. If so, officer is fully at fault. Why would you keep cranking after the guy is out?
