Metroid Other M...good game

It would be a decent game. If it wasn't a Metroid game. The way it is it completely shat on everything the franchise stood for and holded dear.

Character development nooooooooooooo

Turning one of the most badass female vidya heroes into a whiny little bitch is not character development, its fucking the character over.

Also, the idea that any character should be one-dimensional is disgusting.

There's a difference between being badass and having no personality.

And all of a sudden even badass people can't feel emotion on losing the only family they have? Okay.

Also, look at this. High heels? Impractical as fuck during combat.

Dude, the thing is: Other M takes place very late in the timeline. Samus has already fought Ridley like 5 times and never did she whine like a bitch, where is the sense in doing this now? Also, the idea of her suit deactivating itself when she has stress is retarded.

The gameplay was also horrible, Metroid always was about non-linearity and exploration not about streamlined corridors and m-muh emotions. In all of her missions, she never was a helpless woman, though she did show emotions, even if they were much more subtle.
