bluenebula (01/05/2016) [-] That's how every fandom starts. Ponies, Undertale, Steven Universe, all of them. When the fandom is new, it's harmless fun. That's how the crazies get drawn in. Look at Steven Universe, sending death threats and attacking someone over a drawing they didn't like. Look at Undertale, sending death threats and attacking someone over a SFM picture they didn't like. Some fandoms die off before the crazies get involved, but most die off because of the crazies that get involved. Sonic, Dr. Who, Supernatural, Homestuck, this is what happens to fandoms when they last too long. No one likes these people, only people who are part of that fandom like that fandom. It's the man covered in shit argument. You can like something, and tell people why you like it, and bring up very good points that people would agree with. Then a man covered in shit runs up next to you and yells "I AGREE WITH THIS GUY" and suddenly that's their image of your fandom. You can't fix that. It happened to Bronies, and if OPM lasts long enough, it'll happen to that to. Fandoms ruin everything. #22 -
windscrotum (01/06/2016) [-] This video gave me the weirdest feeling. I too love Minecraft, and even have a fairly strong distaste for people who make fun of it, but this kid is so goddamn stupid that I somehow find it fascinating. Almost soothing. Did anyone else get this or am I mentally ill? The sending of death threats isn't really a fandom thing. It's more a Tumblr thing. If it were a fandom thing, then porn artists would have a life expectancy of about a month by my hypothesis. #23 -
windscrotum (01/06/2016) [-] I always figured it was just a stupid people thing, and outside of shady darknet shit, pretty much no one ever actually killed them. For someone to get someone killed on the shady darknet, they would have to spend a substantial amount of money, that fandom bitches and stupid people don't have, to hire an assassin. Someone well enough established to hire an assassin is likely smart enough not to blog about it. The fandom bitches and Tumblrfags either just want attention, and leave it at empty threats, or are poor and resort to SWATting. #27 -
windscrotum (01/06/2016) [-] That's my point, death threats are a stupid people thing, so very few people with the ability to hire an assassin would give them, but you don't need to be an assassin to kill someone. Crazies with knives do it all the time. I just suspect that darknet crime is where one might find someone crazy with an actual motive that can't be dealt with through law enforcement, facilitating the possibility of stabby stabby.

| "Well known" probably would have been a better thing for me to have said. Actually, when you think about it, there is no such thing as a popular fandom. Fandoms are horrible by definition, and will ruin everything you love. The One Punch Man fandom is pretty benign. Their only crime, really, is posting too much. #14 -

| Nah, Eviction was the shit. Logged a good few hours on that mode alone. Say what you want about the COD series, but for me they are always fun to play. It really was. Putting aside the gameplay issues of which there were many the campaign did this big routine about how much of an amazing stealth unit the Ghosts are, and then literally the only time you use stealth is when you're playing as the dog. Which is in total, twice. If that, it's been forever since I played that pile Sorry dude, but you're wrong. Jk, that's your opinion and I certainly respect (and expect) that some people enjoyed it. It's just that in critical terms, it was pretty woeful and to my mind really dumb. It certainly excelled in high octane shooting, but that's kinda expected of CoD CoD has a really good reputation for their campaigns, the online portion is what people mostly complain about, I'm surprised they fucked up this hard on this one. I found cod campaigns became shittier and low quality for the less interesting of the series that they want to rush or theres a special feature worth rushing for the COD WAW campaign was shit; absolute trash. wanted to kill myself. they had a good idea for the pacific theater but even that sucked. Black ops in general felt like an interesting but not well thought out campaign series. ghosts was absolute trash no doubting that I didn't play advanced warfare, but there was pretty much nothing that was already been done from what I saw. and black ops 3 was just pants-on-head-in-ass retarded. none of that shit made sense and it looked like a fucking Halo game for christ sake. The only way BO3's campaign is in any way acceptable is if you try to forget it's a COD game. If you go in thinking "Wow this is an odd cyberpunk-themed futuristic military shooter" it's not half as bad. It's completely crazy and makes little sense, but it's not as bad. #25 -
anon (01/05/2016) [-] yah, literally nobody liked the game, even cod fans hated it, everyone hated it, it was the worst, fuck that game,,,,,,

| To be fair though, the depiction of Jesus being a white Caucasian male is kind of silly considering he was from the middle east. from what ive seen and heard. he is more olive skined. if that makes sense. People have always drawn Jesus as different races. There are pictures of Asian looking Jesus. Back then people thought differently, there was no problem with painting Jesus as white/whatever. He is literally God made flesh, he is in all life. Yeah, I've definitely heard Middle Eastern, and that's what he would have been, but I've never heard black in a serious context. | ||

| he literally just picked up a lightsaber of the ground and had to be reminded that it was a weapon. Frankly, he does much better with a blaster anyway. All through the movie I was waiting for him to get into a gunfight, since that's what Troopers are supposed to be good at. he managed to lose like, two blasters over the course of the film without firing them once. #151 -
atomicjojo (01/05/2016) [-] Let's also not forget that he never fired his blaster as a storm trooper in combat. He was conscripted, and wasn't cool with the whole murdering villages thing. However, how he got from a sanitation position to a combat position is anybodies guess. I don't know many if any POG's (slang for Person Other than Grunt, aka, office job, non combat job, technician, etc.) that went to a grunt position in the US armed forces myself. He only has that lightsaber by chance. He's not in tune with the force at all as far as we know , and he doesn't have any lightsaber training.

I didn't know subscribing to channels was really a thing at the time. By the time I was less of a newfag, I didn't follow it anymore.
I made this account during one of the first waves of people bitching about bendingtime on the front page.
By accepting this friend request, you have agreed to let me take a **** , once a month, in a random spot inside your home.
