soulstorm is literally a piece of shit.

I think it was okay. Could've been better but they didn't fuck anything up, they brought new races and new stuff and most previous older mods are avaliable to Soulstorm, even when most air units are almost completely garbage and useless hell talon is good but that's about it .

Ive been a die hard fan of the dawn of war series for a long time, and I will admit that they didnt fuck anything up, when they added in the sisters of battle, their voice acting was atrocious, their animation was just...Id rather not speak about their animation. The best mods for the DoW series are on Dark Crusade, where you have the ZMS mod, quite literally the largest scale mod for any dawn of war game. The only thing in soulstorm that I liked was its campaign, It was unique.

Is it worth messing with?

DC is the best of the series, its when tau and necrons were brought in. Also has a larger mod community and a larger stockpile of mods because SS is considered to be trash.
I can point you to a few good mods, some great mods and some great maps.

I also occasionally host a game with a few friends and we go like 3(us) v 4 insane bots and try to survive with the ZMS mod. 1000 unit cap and alllll the titans.

I've played every other DoW game except for DC mainly because a friend told me that DC and Soulstorm were literally the same except Soulstorm had 2 extra factions. I'll have to give DC a whirl sometime soon.
