Make sure you're with people you can 100% trust in all scenarios.

I'd say don't, but you're going to hear that a lot. Mostly just don't overthink it and remember it's all a trip. You're not dying, you're not melting, things aren't coming for you. It's all just a trip.

Also, make sure you have a straight man with you. Ya'know the guys/gals - straight shooters, always nice, etc. Someone to help you if the trip goes south. Taking drugs with friends can be fun, but if a trip goes wrong...you could be on that shit for hours on end and it could be extremely freaky.

I've never done any drugs, but I've helped many of friends down off of bad trips, and heard all the stories from them.

if this is your first time then plan ahead by being in the company of friends and people with whom you are comfortable. its not recommended to be in public for too long on the first trip, but its ok. Just leave yourself an out, make sure that you have a chill area that is quiet and comfortable where you can go if you start to bug out.

my friends used to play pool or video games at an arcade. when it started kicking in and the pool balls started leaving tracers or the video game graphics start to look exeptionally brilliant, we would go to the park or walk around downtown and find a good place. they call it tripping for a reason. see where it takes you

Its weird, but its true. If your nature is too self centered, then you will be very frightened because your mind will be open to the possibility that, everything you know might not be true and that can come as a shock for you if you are a know-it-all kind of a person, -but thats actually a good thing- its like the headline of the psychedelic experience and its very important. most eastern religions' followers give their years trying to come to that spiritual awakening !

If your conciousness cant deal with that possibility in the psychedelic experience, you will feel like youre being shattered to pieces, and that can be spooky. But again its not a bad thing but one may get shocked and have a bad trip, thats how bad trips are born !

i.e if youre very religious and easily getting scared and also self centered, its almost certain that you will have a bad trip and think that youre in hell and demons are torturing you its predictable mind behavior.
