I also highly suggest looking into Vault 81 first if you don't mind spoilers.
There's a lot of glitches/bugs in there right now that I've encountered, and one that can make it so after a quest you don't have to go through the rest of your time playing with -10HP.
Don't read the spoilers unless you want spoilers.
Not a bug, but after you find the cat and send her home, you have to wait 24 hours to get the next quest to go into the secret vault.
After you get Curie as a companion, if you dismiss her, she often goes back to Vault 81 and stands in front of the medical center there until you ask her to travel with you again.
After completing Hole in the Wall, you can start another quest with Tina, and end up recruiting her to your settlements, however it's bugged and even if you pass the speech check to get her, she won't leave to your settlement, and instead wander around the vault like normal saying she can't wait to see the commonwealth. The only way around this is to choose insults when doing to quest talking to Bobby, getting him to attack you, killing him, and going from there as normal.
You're supposed to be able to recruit the cat girl's dad to your settlement and he's a special trader so he'd make your stand go from lvl 3 to lvl 4 and have unique items, but to do so you have to tell his wife to leave him, and even then the dialogue seems to get stuck and doesn't allow you to ask him to join you. I've yet to figure this one out.
Don't talk to Calvin. Apparently after speaking with him, he will disappear into part of the vault that's impossible to get to.
The cure can be used on both the player character and Austin if, during the conversation with the doctor, the player tells him to use the cure on Austin then quickly backs away and uses the cure on themself before it is removed from the player's inventory. Note that you have to use the cure after Dr. Forsythe begins responding, otherwise you will trigger the dialog for having used it yourself.

literally its own line of quests, go to vault 81 left of diamond city past the waterhole with all the massive bugs, south from the farm run by the mr handy's, go up to the front door, barter your way in and the quest line will start itself pretty much, ask around or watch a tutorial, eventually you will need to chase down a cat, when you get back a kid is sick, you have to find a cure in the hidden part of the vault and thats where she is, best girl just sitting there waiting for you.
