You say that, but a lot of the people I've met that are "disabled" are so because they are 350+ lbs. Technically, they are physically incapable of manual labor. Doesn't mean I should keep supporting them.
User avatar #9 - reaperssprint (01/31/2013) [-]
Yea, pretty much. If they can present a good reason for a need for aid such as a disability that was not caused by their own negligence (hurt on the job, soldeir, cop, fire man, injured in an accident caused by another, ext) then that is an exception. Otherwise they are a waste of space and money, if you are perfectly capable of doing something and choose not to, then you are trash and deserve to be treated as such.

clearly youve never done taxes. I empty out my pocket every fucking paycheck. against my will. like millions of other people. And who are these people who cant find a job? what are their "Best efforts" You sound like youre talking out of your ass.

True enough. If that's all you meant, then you are entirely correct and my comment is null and void. Also, it's really hard to come up with bear related puns that fit the context

The first composed went wrong. She also says that in the video.
User avatar #129 - belikea (11/24/2012) [-]
No, the experiment that failed was when the forerunners attempted to escape the flood by using the composer to escape as data, remove the flood, and then return to organic forms, essentially being immortal in the process. this was tested, but the personalities stored as data fragmented, and when returned, created the abominations of the kind later used as knights. the didact realized that while the composer could not be used to make the forerunners immortal, or save them from the flood directly, he realized that the composer could be used to create knights invulnerable to flood contamination. then he composed the promethean forerunners, and then the humans, and THEN (a few million years later) the station around Halo 03, and THEN the city of New Phoenix.

anyway, the composed that went wrong were those they hoped to bring back in their natural forms, not the forerunners or humans, which they intended to create knights with.
