If that's true, then my apologies. It's just when bronies say this show "affected them", they usually talk about how it made them better people because it taught them stuff you should have learned before grade school.
User avatar #53 - thezephyr (08/20/2012) [-]
its basically what sixroller said. We have known these morals since we were young, however as we became older, many of us succumbed to the judgmental and mean ways of society. For some of us, this show reminded us how simple and nice life was when we were kids and were respectful and looked out for and helped each other.

However personally I have been doing this sort of thing my entire life and never really gave in to that disrespectful part of society, however being a brony has helped me meet like minded people.

However I would also like to say no everyone in the brony community is kind and nice like it used to be. Once it became popular and not so frowned upon to be a brony, others joined in, but unfortunately had no respect for the "morals" of the old bronies and acted as they pleased.

I do know that the whole brony thing started as a troll, but it evolved over time into something more, something meaningful....and then it turned back into trolling.

I really appreciate how you said this. I completely agree. I, too, never became disrespectful, like a large portion of my generation.

didnt double check that before I posted and used a double however >_>

Oh, I'm sorry. That may have been my misuse of words. I meant to say it's interesting to see the different people that watch the show. That was my mistake. I wrote it in the middle of the night, so I wasn't fully paying attention to what my words say. I do understand your point, though.

Yeah, two perfectly normal guys who watch a 5 year olds girl show just sat at a table. Talking about MLP.

Yeah no you're not werid.
User avatar #9 - bearinganhourglass (08/19/2012) [-]
Why does it matter what people watch? I was raised watching the old My Little Pony episodes, so the newer ones remind me of that time. And he started watching it because his girlfriend wanted him to watch it with her.

Ah yeah, I nearly got caught by the cops one time doing smoke rings. But I was just like "camon, it's 40 degrees out...". Me and my friend were smoking a joint, I killed it, dropped it, and around the corner was the cop 2 houses down.

We got hella lucky that day too cuz we volunteered to empty our pockets cuz neither of us had anything (we lit it off the end of a cigarette and luckily it burned good cuz we didn't have a lighter..) and we ended up getting off the hook. Dumb cop :P

But ye, smoke rings are fun. And easy.
User avatar #19 - Esplosions (08/19/2012) [-]
How do you do smoke rings?
User avatar #23 - bearinganhourglass (08/19/2012) [-]
With hookah, what I learned was to get a lot of smoke in your mouth, don't blow out. Then you need to drop your jaw and kind of make an O with your mouth. Click your jaw, in a way, so it looks like you're going to close it, but you just open it again. I hope that made sense.
User avatar #22 - cartmanismyhomeboy (08/19/2012) [-]
And you don't want to blow it out at any point, to get it from your lungs to your mouth you can do little short easy coughs but you have to be prepared to make the rings right after or else you'll lose the smoke.
User avatar #21 - cartmanismyhomeboy (08/19/2012) [-]
It's kinda hard to explain but once you get it the first time you're good
You gotta like, let a little bit of the smoke that you're holding in out into your mouth, then form an O shape with your lips and push the smoke out with your tongue.
