I feel as if you were trying to start an internet fight, and I'm glad that lizardlord and the rest of the commenters are above falling for your bait.

Fallout 3 has more of an exploration aspect to it, but New Vegas has a lot more gameplay involved, and a better story that 3 had imo

I personally prefer the weapons too, NV had more variety (both common and unique).

I'd agree. Though many argue that FO3 had better exploration, I just don't see it. Everything in FO3 seemed the same, just a bunch of shades of gray. FONV had a more diverse environment, and while you were a little restricted in the beginning, you really could just dick around and explore. Combine that with the more in dept plot and better combat, it was truly an improvement over the last. Not that FO3 wasn't epic, but I think FONV was an improvement.

the main thing about 3 I didn't like was the story I just didn't seem to care about it that much while in New Vegas you got to change the world for a lot more than a water filter

I also didn't like how a lot of areas we hidden behind metro tunnels. Trying to explore left a bad taste in my mouth knowing I had to mark certain areas to find a tunnel to get in, as opposed to NV where you can just wander.

Those were annoying and not all that fun...I mean how many bombed out metros can one take?
