battletechmech (01/10/2016) [-]   I'd recommend putting your screen rez down to minimum before launch, if that doesn't work you may have to get a emulator for an older OS. I had to lower my screen rez for Civ 3 to work. trust me i've tried it all, it allows me to interface with the menu and etc, but launching a mission causes the screen to turn black Keep looking, mech warrior has a strong enough base someone should have come up with a solution. well it also didn't help that when I was rebinding all the controls I found out the game wasn't going to let me use WASD for throttle and turning, so maybe the copy has just aged non-gracefully Look into an emulator, you have a physical copy so it's not technically illegal. | ||

 well i looked it up on amazon, i mean steel batalion was back in the original xbox days so its a tad old, also a launch title (or launch window, too lazy to check) I decided to look up some more into it, it looks like people can get it to work in both MWO and MW4, so you should be fine mwomercs.com/forums/topic/13726-steel-battalion-controller/ however this source is rather dated. | ||

battletechmech (05/03/2015) [-] I actually rather like MWO, the designs on the mechs are fantastic, and whenever i spent money on it, I felt that I wanted to. Progression is rather slow when working on mechs however like most F2P games , but when playing with friends over voicechat, the game becomes a fun strategy game.

Also in MW4 vengence it's your starting mech, and it's easily one of the best mechs in the game.
