BT? Battletech? Im sorry, im not familiar with tabletop battle tech, as far as tabletop goes im only familiar with warhammer 40k. As far as pen and paper, ive done shadowrun and DnD. Sadly Ive only every played Mechwarrior Online so my battletech knowledge is vary limited. Reading the PDF I found right now though.

Going to have to add this to my list of RPGs to play. Finding a DM I trust in my area is hard, even harder to get the players to find a day every week, let alone month to to join up. Since most of us have jobs we cant control the scheduled of.

Know anyone else online willing to give it a go or something? I tried doing some reddit shadowrun thing but that just felt some impersonal jumping groups like they did.

Oh no, i noticed the definition, its just that batman isn't described by the attributes listed, its like if i put the definition of benevolent next to a picture of joseph stalin and said "see how benevolent joseph stalin is?"

Batmans morality is entirely based on the rule of law, that is a traditionally heroic sense of morality

I don't know what else to say, maybe try being less butthurt just because someone thumbs you down

1. Literally every single hero is a vigilante, superman, green lantern, wonder woman are all vigilantes

2. Using your brain & being cunning isn't an anti hero trait by itself

3. Standing in front of or behind someone before you engage them has nothing to do with your moral status

4. He is doing what he percieves to be the best for gotham, which used to be a run down den of complete corruption and batman shows the world that no one, not even a hero is above the law

You're really grasping at straws here, the only things batman has are dark & brooding and paranoid But he does not do the two basic things that an antihero does:- kill people who get in their way and break rules.

antiheros don't have to kill people, and batman breaks plenty of laws, that's the definition of a vigilante. Batman believes he is above the law, again the definition of vigilante. And for fucks sake me anti-hero is an old ass term, you can't think straight because you think modern heroes are heroes rather than antiheroes, the only thing we have close to a true "hero" in modern comics is Captain America, everyone else renounces typical heroic traits and you just seem to think that the status quo changes the definition of hero. It doesn't. Batman is an antihero, Deadpool is an antihero. There is no debate.

Batman is literally insane. Plus his rule to never kill is what KEEPS GETTING PEOPLE KILLED YOU DENSE MOTHERFUCKER.

Red Hood had it fuckin' right. If he'd just kill Joker, all those thousands of lives Joker's taken would not have been sacrificed just to put him back in the funny farm so he can break out every week.

All that blood is on Batman's hands, because he could have prevented it. He's not a hero, he's a coward who won't sacrifice his own limits out of fear of his own instability and lack of sanity, and lives are lost because of it. He's a hypocrite, don't ride his dick just because he's cool.

What about LAMs and Quadruped mechs?

I do not know why but I am attracted to the uncommon designs, and I find it a great shame that LAMs were not so looked upon to guarantee development.
#13 to #12 - battletechmech (11/19/2015) [-]
The ideas of LAMs just seemed to anime-y to me, i'm glad they were dropped for the most part. Though the spectral series is pretty cool

Quad-Mechs I like, especially the super-light celerity.

Another battletech fan! Any opinion on MWO?
#8 to #7 - battletechmech (05/03/2015) [-]
I actually rather like MWO, the designs on the mechs are fantastic, and whenever i spent money on it, I felt that I wanted to. Progression is rather slow when working on mechs however like most F2P games , but when playing with friends over voicechat, the game becomes a fun strategy game.

You like the Marauder? I set mine up with 3 ac/5's and 4 med lazers.
User avatar #17 to #16 - battletechmech (01/04/2016) [-]
I didnt get the marauder pack in favor for the warhammer, but that build is what id probably agree with, if not id probably run 4 ppcs and machine guns, for the fun factor

Yeah, it's a really good "clutch" machine. I was able to end off 4 people as the last one on my team after everyone got brought down.

My favorite mech to pilot is my 'scout' battlemaster, with short range superiroity like that you cant help but feel powerful, not to mention being able to outrun a good portion of medium mechs

#4 to #2 - battletechmech (03/29/2015) [-]
my favorite light mech is the piranha, the 12 machine guns is not only ridiculous but hilarious at the same time, on a 20 ton chassis!
#3 to #2 - battletechmech (03/29/2015) [-]
Well it depends, but my overall favorite mech is probably the shadow cat, although i'm not a fan of clans its low weight, ridiculous speed and jumpjet gauss combo is great.
Also in MW4 vengence it's your starting mech, and it's easily one of the best mechs in the game.
