Honestly, my experience has been identical to yourse only with weed.

Vaping has its harmful effects, and I can't stand douchebags that overglorify it.
I'm a little more tolerant of their vapor clouds because they can be amusing sometimes, and tend to have a somewhat pleasant smell. Still, it gets annoying quick, but again... at least it doesn't have the smell, or makes people act too weird.

ye i agree on basically everything but the people i usually smoke with act the same after getting smoking and rarely do stupid shit but thats probably cuz they do it often but even people i know that rarely smoke act normal. i actually like the smell even if i didnt smoke weed.

Unfortunately, my life hasn't yielded such nice people.

You're not wrong. Lucas said that the films are like poetry, that the prequels "rhyme" with the original trilogy, and I think the new movies will respect that in some regards. However, they know when they need to differ from the storyline and bring new aspects into it.

That's an argument that doesn't work well when applied to other things. I understand your concern for preservatives and artificial enhancers(that's actually very smart), but truthfully it's just not very good if it is used frequently.

Eating it would have all of the same benefits and could potentially be much safer,
but people rather stink up the place and puff it.

i agree that smoking of any kind will harm the body and doing everyday will affect your motivation, amongt other things. i put smoking it in the same catagory as stuff like beer and wine but the concentrates are completely different things because of the large variety and uses, medical or recreational

It's not because weed is super dangerous, it's the fact that people typically smoke it heavily while acting like it's the one thing we're invincible to.

Then when somebody brings up the topic about how people can develop a dependency on it, they say "Oh I can quit this any time", yet immediately puff away every time their day goes a little rough at work. Unlike cigarettes, those things aren't filtered.

Then when they don't get their fix, they can't calm down and end up taking it out on everybody.

I know this because I live with a stoner, and while he's one of my best friends, I can't stand his shit when he's on it and he's driving his parents crazy. Here I am working, going to college, paying big rent, and helping clean 20 lbs of catshit from 5 litter pails,
and he just puffs away whenever he gets slightly stressed.

I've tried talking him off of it, and nothing works.

I can respect a moderate stoner with self control, but with society being so convinced that it's not gonna mess with their head or ash up their lungs, they readily abuse it to the point to where they make a typically harmless plant into a harmful threat to their own bodies.

If you can keep it down to two puffs a week I'd understand.
It's recreational, it's fun, it can be relaxing. But relying on it daily just to deal with life is nothing more than a dependency, and every single user that I've met has easily fallen to this pit--- even my ex-boss at a hydraulic company.

Well that because weed is natural, while somehow inhaling any kind of smoke on a regular basis is okay. Neither might not be as bad as cigarettes, but damage is damage.

you do know your fucking dealer doesnt care if your weed smells like pineapples or agent orange right? lighting something on fire period and inhaling it is bad dumbass. and pot is worse due to a lack of filters, regulations, and that they contain more tar and hurt you more because people tend to inhale more deeply and hold it longer.

There are all natural cigarettes, too. Both Winstons (what I smoke), and American Spirits are all natural tobacco, non-chemically treated.

Weed is as natural as tobacco and nicotine.
Weed being smoked makes it harmful, and weed itself may not be directly harmful, but causes the brain to lose its ability to form new connections.

It is the ashy lungs that cause as much, if not worse damage than cigarettes because they aren't filtered. Yet the social media hype bashes vaping(a far less harmful alternative), yet glorifies an unfiltered smoking plant.

It's not really media who's defending one or the other. It's people.
It pisses me off that people don't seem to understand that anything can be bad for you when not used in moderation.
Everyone just wants to consume and not think about the consequences.
