Can't get another head from the junkyard?
User avatar
#16032 - basshead (05/27/2015) [-]
It's an option, but I'd honestly rather not go with a junkyard head, partially because from what research I've had, noone in town had one that would work, and, with a junkyard head, there's just so much uncertainty with it that I'd just kinda rather not.

Ignition switch fuck you over?

Lolnope, it's funny, that's one of the first things I always get asked, but no, I got the recall repair done and I'm not a moron who has 5 lbs worth of shit dangling off of my keychain, so it has been a non-issue. What I was more worried about, especially after my transmission kerfuffle, was my rack, since I've got the electric rack that was supposedly issue prone, but that's never been an issue either. Just my luck it'd be something retarded like a cracked head. Seriously debating putting a can of stopleak in it and just selling the thing and picking up a later model crown vic.

Just sell out and get a stick shift civic or accord.

Lol fuck that, I'm not a piece of shit ricer, and I'm more than ready to return to the land of RWD and v8's, even if it is a wimpy but unkillable ford modular v8. That and I just don't like the trend that is modifying those, slammed undriveable hovercrafts everywhere.

Chiiiiillllll. You don't necessarily have to slam a honda just cause everyone else does it. Other than the minority of fanboys that drive them, they're solid cars. But to each his own I guess.

Eh, to be fair, unmodified for a daily driver and not doing all the retarded stuff they're not bad cars, but, just not my style, I'm sorry, I work with several guys that have aforementioned civics and I just get tired of it after a point, y'know?

I hear you. Every Civic owner I knew was either a pothead, hipster or wigger. I personally like Hondas because I've kinda been raised to. If you ever decided to get an SUV, I'd personally recommend an 06-08 Pilot EX-L. In terms of big V8 boats, I hear that the Lexus LS is like a Crown Vic but made out of vibranium and adamantium. But lord help you if you actually manage to break something in an LS.

Er, not transmission, the kerfuffle was with my front suspension because curbs are a bitch.
