I think you'll be safe finding a decent one in a junkyard. I've never heard of a cobalt head cracking before.

I still might actually end up doing that, if my casting number matches up I might be heading down to a junk yard on friday and pulling one, will probably get it gone over by a machine shop before doing anything with it though.

I was reading your post below a little oil is okay like the first pic in that thread www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=108156

If it's a lot I still don't think it's a crasked head unless you can see the crack, you probably just need a valve cover seal.

It wasn't oil in the spark plug well either, it was coolant, literally flowing out of it.

There is a visible crack in the head. It needs a new head.

I hear you. Every Civic owner I knew was either a pothead, hipster or wigger. I personally like Hondas because I've kinda been raised to. If you ever decided to get an SUV, I'd personally recommend an 06-08 Pilot EX-L. In terms of big V8 boats, I hear that the Lexus LS is like a Crown Vic but made out of vibranium and adamantium. But lord help you if you actually manage to break something in an LS.

Chiiiiillllll. You don't necessarily have to slam a honda just cause everyone else does it. Other than the minority of fanboys that drive them, they're solid cars. But to each his own I guess.

Eh, to be fair, unmodified for a daily driver and not doing all the retarded stuff they're not bad cars, but, just not my style, I'm sorry, I work with several guys that have aforementioned civics and I just get tired of it after a point, y'know?

Just sell out and get a stick shift civic or accord.

Lol fuck that, I'm not a piece of shit ricer, and I'm more than ready to return to the land of RWD and v8's, even if it is a wimpy but unkillable ford modular v8. That and I just don't like the trend that is modifying those, slammed undriveable hovercrafts everywhere.

Er, not transmission, the kerfuffle was with my front suspension because curbs are a bitch.
