UNLESS you play more then a certain large amount of times. and when did I even say that I missed arcades? I don't even like them, but EXCUSE me for playing devil's advocate and defending arcades logically. a) no b) yep c) If it's only about the price I can play all instrument simulators using the standard controller of any console. d) You have to consider everything when considering price, I spend at lease $3 in bus/train fare going to the nearest arcade d2) It's a price you pay when going to the arcade substracts enjoyment from the game I'm never said you missed arcades, I'm just explaing that with the development of PC gaming and console availability arcades are no longer viable (which is what we are discussing, their viability) I'm ok with you playing devils advocate, it causes logical arguments which is what I enjoy about FJ comment section. I'm not thumbing you down, I'm thumbing you up. (but you did post your opinion on FJ) DDR comes with a SHITLOAD of songs, and you can buy other DDRs, which don't repeat songs.

| a) HOTD3 is only $7 - THE ENTIRE GAME, WITH INFINITE CONTINUES b) As a drummer I despise the instrument simulators, I was just making a point. c) DDR + TWO dance pads retails for $100 d) At home you don't have to wait in line, get retards to say "can I co-op with you please" (you can't say no or you're a douche) and you can play naked. Arcades where pretty baws in the 90s (I suppose in the 80s too), as of the new milenium, and earlier, it's all about PC and Consoles. #116

hoopfan (05/06/2013) [-] so a 34? That's probably why our perspectives of it are so different. Our school pushes us so hard, you got 180 pupils doing it every year, our average points total last year was 40.1. I'm currently on track for a 41, if exams go as well as they're currently going, with paper 2 philosophy tomorrow morning at 8 am gmt, finishing on may 17th! I hear the international average is 28, so for us to be averaging 12 points higher than that, we must suffer a lot more than the average ib student!

N. Korean citizen (05/06/2013) [-] I think the IB could probably be a very good, and not so difficult education system had it not been for my high school, im done in four days time and the problem is that I have been dependent on the quality of teaching the entire time. TOK i got fucked the first year because shit teacher didn't know what she was talking about, Environmental systems and societies (im not interested/ smart enough for any other science) got fucked the second year with a 60 year old incompetent teacher. Math SL terrible teacher as well for the first year, who was replaced by a true god among men as you say the second year. It's all come down to whether i had good teacher in the end, certain subjects i have gotten great grades and understanding others i have just been cursing my poor luck with teachers. I admit I would have liked to have gone to a properly organised school. I live in Italy and the organisation has been atrocious. TL DR: IB is probably noot too difficult, if you have good teachers. Good teachers are essential, In my school we have the same teachers both years unless something happens, first year I had 3 chem teachers, which made us go slowly and have to catch up knowledge the following year. For first year bio I had the best teacher ever, he had 3 PhDs and an MBA, he quit because the school didn't want to pay more...for the best qualified teacher ever...and the 2nd year backup was a useless hag, good thing I love bio and learnt it in my own time. #133

herpderpherpity (05/06/2013) [-] Im taking Physics HL, Chemistry HL, Math HL, self taught Economics HL along with SL English and ab intio German.... if you take that kind of diploma its not nearly as easy... so you can't say that ib is easy as a general statement Well, yes, you did choose the two hardest ib subjects(math+chem), plus two other higher level subjects, which is one more HL than intended. You made the IB hard (which is good) taking IB the intended way isn't hard. Winning against AI in Rugby 08 isn't hard, but if you play with Canada against RSA on the hardest difficulty you're going to have a tough time I'm sill in my first year of the D.P program, and I find it quite difficult, especially compared to what my friends in the standard high school are doing. I take Econ, English A and Bio HL, and since I enjoy all of those subjects I do not mind the workload. However the standard level subjects that I take (Math, French A, History) are what is making the course really hard because of all the extra work that I don't consider my primary focus. Especially as a transition from the MYP system that was a complete joke, I find the I.B quite hard, especially in comparison to most if not all other high school systems. I'm currently taking my SL exams, hopefully I'll do well enough on them to be able to drop them next year and focus on my HL subjects. Either way I wish the best of luck to all of my fellow I.B D.P participants! 7 maths, 6 in both sciences, 5 in ITGS, B for both essays. As i was so badass and smoked weed a lot and didn't care about my grades in languages I wrote 420 words about marijuana for paper 2 A2 english, barely answered paper 1 and got a 4. I gave in paper 1 blank for spanish, paper 2 I properly answered because my teacher was examining, got a 4 also - I'm assuming this was averaged with the A's I got in my coursework for both. I regret the part about being 2kool5languages because I could've had 6 or 7 and gotten a decent scolarship abroad but I wanted to stay in argentina, go to University of Buenos Aires (it's the best in south america, and it's public) #203
