| I have been trying to sell my massive HD 65" TV for $100-200, no one will fucking take it! The thing is massive and taking up the whole corner of my bedroom. No it's DLP, but it's still 1080, only 18" thick, it's a new one. | ||

N. Korean citizen (06/02/2013) [-] America is shit But the vast majority of people don't know it. Americans, from what I have seen think their country is one of the nicest and "fairest" in the world. Americans think they are free and that their government gives two shits about them when in reality they don't. For there to be a revolution people need to wake up and realize that their government is shit. In Turkey's case it was the mall incidence that sparked this cataclysmic chain of events that are leading to a full on revolution. #477 -
jamesjc (06/02/2013) [-] Dude, I invite you to come chill with me in the U.S. for awhile because what you just said has never been witnessed by my eyes or heard by my ears. I've never heard a single person in this country call it the "best" or "nicest" country in the world. Everyone here is bitching about the government and its politicians. Things are bad, but not bad enough that people want to riot through the streets, and hang a politician out to dry. Whether you realize it or not, there are actually people here who are actively trying to change the way our country works. I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just saying that whilst my country is bad right now, it certainly isn't shit. In relation to MANY other countries, we're doing okay. Things could be better, and people know that. Look at this country. Things are complete shit Congress can't get shit done, Fucking porch monkeys and illegal Mexicans are getting welfare, not paying taxes, go to college ENTIRELY FOR FREE, and if I speak out I'm a racist. People want the fucking world to revolve around them, don't get a job, and spend my taxpayer money on weed and booze I got fucking fired from my job yesterday because barely any of the women who work there speak english. They get there pay under the table in cash, and it's more than I make, AND they work less. I needed them to get something done instead of sitting around, and they tell me to speak spanish while calling me Gringo My boos comes around asking where something is, and I tell him the higher ups gave me a job to do, so I gave to one of the others. She REFUSES to learn English and doesn't do her job. He tells me "Well maybe you should learn Spanish and I wouldn't have to DOCK YOUR PAY" I told the fucker that if they come to my country they should learn to speak my language instead of having 9 fucking anchor children to get out of taxes. The thing that ruins this country is the fact that people who work get fucked over, while those who sit around reap all the benefits TL;DR Fuck the USA a) Yes, people who move to a country should have to learn the language, I fucking hate the chinks at the corner store from my house who somehow run a buisness without speaking a word of spanish. I can't even get an answer to "where's the cheddar?". b) Inmigrants get the shitty jobs, try and get a better job, in an enviroment where you work with people from the US. c) You still don't have it as bad as you think, move to Southamerica or Asia, see what it's like in real shity countries. #563 -
thenewneone (06/02/2013) [-] Idiot, move to korea where there are no mexicans. All your problems will be sloved. People seem to realize that no country is perfect. Live your entire life in the U.S. or any other 1st world country, and of course it's going to seem shitty. But people tend to forget that they are far better than the majority of other countries out there. #317 -

N. Korean citizen (06/02/2013) [-] Hey, maybe you outta move to Turkey. Haha, Yeah, there's a lot wrong with our country, and if there's not something going on you're mad about, you aren't opening your eyes. I agree with you 100%. But hey, I gotta say, I'm glad to be here instead of Afghanistan, or Iraq, or Korea. The thing about life is that it's always going to be unfair, and there are always going to be better ways to do things. And most of the time things don't change for the better because people are afraid of change. There's no perfect place, bad things happen to good people, good things happen to bad people, bad things happen to bad people, good thing happens to good people... But the bottom line is that we'll never live the way everyone says we should be living. We live in a world of reality, not ideals. It's not the country that's shitty, it's the people exploiting it that make it shitty, and people are exploiting all they can all over the world To counter one of your many very valid points (seriously, no sarcasm here,) the USA doesn't have English as its national language. I could be making that up, but I believe that's what I heard last time I said "Theyre coming here, they should learn English." I do believe that is false, actually. I learned in high school and middle school that English is the first language of the USA (first language meaning official/necessary, just in case anyone was wondering) Thats another thing you can add to the list then. We're supposed to be the land of the free, where you can come no matter who you are and make a new life, as long as you completely change the language you have been speaking your entire life. Well it makes sense. If you go to Germany, do you think they are going to re-structure their entire system around the fact you speak english? Fuck no! You need to learn their language or GTFO Somewhat different situation. Germany didnt, and still doesnt base their country around basically being able to go there and start anew, if you fucked up elsewhere. But you still have to learn the language. Just like everywhere else. Speaking with other natives? I don't care what the hell you speak. Knock yourself out. If you come here legally, pay taxes, and act like a normal citizen and make some attempt to learn english, I don't have any problem with you. If you come here illegally, have 12 kids for welfare and so that you won't be deported, take my job, don't pay taxes, and go to school for free, AND don't do shit at your job, and make no attempt to learn my language, instead trying to force yours down my throat, then you don't deserve to start over in my country It's the fact that conservative views are getting thrown right out of the window and anyone who is a whiff of conservative is automatically labelled a racist/ homophobe/ etc. It's all about pleasing the majority, which is low class/immigrants. We have to lower our standards of living just because some people live off of the system and want THEIR rights to come first (I'm not making generalizations, I know some people legitimately need help.) I agree that we shouldn't have to learn Spanish, or any other language for that matter. Even if I was going on vacation to a foreign country, I would at least try to learn a language or bring a translator so I wouldn't waste a person with a native tongue's waste of fucking time. Oh well, we are becoming Socialist/Communist. Capitalism means nothing to the U.S. anymore, and neither do Conservative beliefs. Things aren't shitty in Turkey in general. This is done purely out of principle, how else do you think things would escalate from a small peaceful protest to a full blown nation wide uprising? And what I mean by that is that the turkish people were content overall but the moment they saw they were being oppressed they didn't take that shit. | ||
